Starting Out Pick your weapon, I prefer sword, double blade and light blades for grinding given the support buff you get with the weapons is a defense increase and this make it easier to grind on harder mobs which will yield more experience. With the extra defense you will be spending less on pills and if you have a friend that has a relic you will barely take any damage from mobs at all. At level 1 do your starting quests till you are told to kill kobolds. Go out the gate and kill 1 or 2, then start hunting the great white apes, these have a chance to drop UNIQUES, and FORTUNE POUCHES, which will give you an amount of silver between 1,000 and 500,000 silver, and with the cost of pills on this silver will help you a lot. You should have a full set or close to full set of UNIQUES by level 20-24 ish now you can grind in caves. On your map, you will see 3 portals the one to the cave is usually close to the entrance of the map or in the middle. these are the places you want to grind due to more mob density and they are all agro so you don't need to run around and collect the mobs. At around level 35 or 40, you want to move to a mob called Dread Lords these have a high % chance to drop RARES (Sorry for the crap yellow color, you can't see yellow very well on here) If you can get a rare armor and defence weapon to drop your golden this means you can almost go right to the next mob that you will grind on till 65. You will want to move to the next cave at around level 45 if you got the drops you needed if not you can stay on the Dread Lords till you get the drops or the names go green. You want to move to the next cave now and grind on Rose Assasins these mobs are very popular or at least they were in other versions for their higher than normal chance to drop level 60 skills, Heavenly Shield, Heavens Blow, Garudas Prayer, 6th and 7th skills as well as 55 rares, you will grind on them till 65 and hopefully get a skill or 2. At 65 you will move to the next cave and grind on the maids in the 1st part or move to the 2nd part of the cave if you are killing them fast enough or they are doing little damage to you. You will grind in the 2nd part of the cave till 90, I suggest grinding in the top left of the map on the kick boxers if you can handle them. At level 90 you will move to the cave in Yanggok. OR you can go to SoS if you have Premium Service, to get there you will need to go to your city and then the Guard Captain, the guard you want will normally be on his right, click him and move to the island above Ancient Island, I will come back to SoS at a later point. You want to go to the cave in Yanggok and grind there till 104 or 105 I'm not too familiar with the cave and what to grind on since I used SoS in every version. At 105 you will want to move to the cave in the map after the cave in Yanggok. you will want to grind on the spear men till 108ish then move to the serpents in the top left. you will grind here till m1 or 2 and hopefully find some m2-5 rares or maybe even an m3 ELITE. at m1 or m2 you will move to the cave in the next map, and grind on the fat guys till m5. at m5 you can go to Proving Grounds or (Scroll of Seekers), I would recommend (Scroll of Seekers) since you don't need to pull your mobs to you and it has an increased xp rate and drop rate at all times in there. You will stay in (Scroll of Seekers) till g4 just moving up the islands as you go, there really isn't much more to include on leveling at this point so good luck with that. Alternatively, you can grind m5 - m17 in Solem Grounds then from m17 - m33 in Odawa Cave 1 & 2 Solemn Grounds: M1 - 5 you are going to want to stay at Either Exalted Rams or Zahar Keysmith. Keysmiths have a double hit and hurt's a lot. They can give more experience compared to Rams tho. M5 - M8 or M11 grind on Goblinkin Champions! These guys drop ELITES aswell. M11 - 17 grind on Obliteration Foci, These can drop ELITE Pets, and Gear. Odawa Cave Floor 1: M17 - M23 Grind on the Sand Drakes M23 - M24 Grind on the Obsidian Hearts Odawa Cave Floor 2: M24 - M26 Grind on the Goblinkin Champions M26 - M33 Grind on the Obliteration Wardens M33 - G1 Grind on the Elephants Source: [Updated : 8/16/2018] Basic Guide for New Players | RedFox Games (playredfox.com)
Stat Points Stat points are the base of any build in Twelvesky and are important in how your character plays out in the world of Twelvesky 2 There are a few common builds for Twelvesky2, I will list these bellow: 3 Vit 2 Str is a easy beginner friendly build with a good balance of Vit and Str to help make grinding easier 3 Str 2 Vit is also a pretty basic build, i would recommend using it with a defensive pet (Rosary) All Vit Not really worth while till end game (g12 r12 s5v2 elite) Unless you want to tank during labby g1-g12 All Str If you have a 100%+ Defensive pet i recommend grinding on this build, makes it much easier to level. Every time your character levels up, you can assign earned points into attributes including Strength, Agility, Vitality, and Chi to improve overall character stats. Premium Service You can find the (Premium Service) token in the misc section of the item mall for 990(RP) This item is very beneficial and I would have to say a must have, you can normally find it being sold in town for 1,000,000,000 (1B). The benefits of (Premium Service) are as follows: Increases Hunt Exp by 20% Increases Drop rate by 50% Reduces Death Penalty Contribution Point +1 Premium Dungeon accessibility (Unlimited (Scroll of Seekers) Time) Cost of Upgrade, Combination, etc. will be reduced by 20% Supportive Skill Effective period extended by twice (excluding Party buffs) Source: Premium Service (30d) | RedFox Games (playredfox.com)
Contribution Points You get 1 cp each 500 mobs killed If you use (Premium Service) you get 2 cp each 500 mobs. There is an item (Crushed Demon Scroll) that adds +4 to that and it is available for 50 rounds so you would get 5 cp per 500 mobs killed or 6 cp if you use (Premium Service) You can increase this number with certain items such as (Scroll of the Gods) (Scroll of Loyalty) (Warriors Scroll) The 3 above-listed items are purchased from the Item Mall. The Faction Leader can also use a tower which increases the CP gained from PVP and PVE by 1. You can also use CP to get a title increasing your STR, DEF, HP, or CHI at the elder, the titles are from L1 to L12 and get more expensive as you increase it. Reinforcement System With this system, you can add a halo above your head that will increase your Strength, Agility, Health, and Spirit by 1 point. You can obtain a halo by going to the palace and speaking with your elder chose the CP RFC option. Each attempt will cost you 100 CP + 1,000,000 silver, with each success it will go up by +1 to a maximum of +96 each time it fails it has a chance to reduce the level by 1, you can use (Guardian Scrolls) to prevent losing a level when it fails. Aswell as adding 1 point to Strength, Vitality, Chi and Dex per rank. For max Halo you will need approx 120k CP and around 500$-700$ worth of (Guardian Scrolls). Heavenly Stone Battle Heavenly Stone Battle is held on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 8pm PDT(ServerTime) This is part of the "End Game" for TwelveSky2, it happens on certain days of the week and it lasts for 3 hours, the objective is to take or defend your stone so you don't end up with -20% dmg You will need to go to yanggok and attack the other factions shields in order to gain access to their maps and their stone, you can also go to your 1st map and defend your stone. It is very important that you listen to your Faction Leader and/or Vice Faction Leader. You will almost always see G12+ ppl fighting for the Holy Stones but even when youre below G12 you can make a difference i.e. casting stun formation or spy around your maps which will help to clear it from campers, also calling incomings to your faction can help to get in position for a good shield or stone defense. Labyrinth Happens on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 9pm PDT (ServerTime). This is another thing that takes place on certain days of the week, to gain access you need to use a LABYRINTH KEY and you can get these from PvP or grinding. The Labyrinth is a 5 floor event where you go and kill bosses to move onto the next floor increasing the rewards you gain. I do not suggest attacking the bosses unless you are geared and in a tank build as when you die you get kicked out and waste your lab key and get 0 rewards. Don't worry there is normally a tank or 5. As for now a Laby run takes approx 45mins. If you decide to tank and you aren't wearing top tier gear you should duel someone to prevent getting stunned permanent from the boss (your mate just kills you and you will respawn where u died, so u stay in Laby, dont forget to duel your mate again after that happened). Make sure to use evade books when tanking. The rewards include: Purple Jades Red Jades Godsent Lucky Tickets 12% 15% Silver Sup Pills Lab Key Money reward per stage: - 26,000,000 - 27,000,000 - 28,000,000 - 29,000,000 - 30,000,000 Source: [Updated : 8/16/2018] Basic Guide for New Players | RedFox Games (playredfox.com)
How to make money There are multiple ways to make money, below I will list some for the new players out there: War. Go to every war that pops up, it's easy money, win or lose you walk away with money. Rings and Amulets. Pick every single one up you can these sell for more silver than the other gear. Mini Bosses. There are many of them in every map, kill them and they will sometimes drop a FORTUNE POUCH, 12%, 9%, 6%, 3%, or even a RARE. Bosses. Bosses spawn in certain maps, I'm going to use the fujin maps as a reference here. there are boss spawns in Shirani Path, and River of Shima, each boss has a 100% chance to drop a FORTUNE POUCH, 1 of each enchanting material, a chance of a CHI ELIXER , SKILL or RARE. Bosses also spawn in Solemn Grounds, Scroll of Seekers, Ikusa Mountains, Midori Oasis. Sell Item Shop stuff Take part in HSB, there are some high value exclusive PvP drops during HSB. Grind your pets out when possible theyre worth alot more at 200%. Get familiar with the current Events running there is always Money to make. Doing LoD is also a good way to make money since you can get Elites there. Source: [Updated : 8/16/2018] Basic Guide for New Players | RedFox Games (playredfox.com)
Auto Hunt Scroll Auto-hunt is a feature in this version that allows you to afk farm / grind. You can purchase AHS in 4 different versions, (5h), (7d), (15d), and (30d). If you are new to this server you will automatically get a free (7d) AHS. To set up your AHS you will need to click the Circle Arrow above the 8 key, You can only register 2 Buffs, these buffs are the basic ones you get from the trainers. Next, you will go to hunting set up put in your multi strike and AOE skill set the # of monsters to 1, and the rest should be pretty explanatory. My autohunt is set to pickup leets only that way i can grind over night without ending up with filled pockets and the opportunity to miss valuable items, here are some Items listed you might add to your AHS when using it with leet pickup only: Source1: [Updated : 8/16/2018] Basic Guide for New Players | RedFox Games (playredfox.com)
Proxy Shop This is gonna be short since it's very easy to explain. The Proxy Shop is an Item Mall item that allows you to open up a store in town while you grind, it costs (110 RP) or you can find it being sold in town for 100,000,000 - 120,000,000. To open up the Proxy Shop menu you will need to click on the icon between the 5 and 6 key, and from here it's just like setting up a normal shop. Auto Pill Going to be another very quick explanation, In this version there is also an Auto Pill feature that works great along side the Auto Hunt Scroll. To activate the Auto Pill you will need to click the icon above the Up and Down arrow at the end of the skill bar, you generally want to set the HP and CHI setting's to 60%, unless you are taking a lot of damage then you are free to set it to whatever you are comfortable with. When activated the Auto Pill will start using all the pills on your skill bar and when that runs out it will pull pills from your inventory. Mounts 1/2 There are 3 types of mounts Mlvl, 5%, 10%, and 15% mounts. Redfox also added GodLvl mounts in February 2020, which kinda makes 5-10% mounts useless, 15% mounts are needed to craft them. To get a 5% mount you need to have it drop during PvP, the only way to get a 10% and 15% mount is to get 100% exp on your 5% mount then you craft a 10% Mount, then get that mount to 100% and craft the 15% version. List of 5% mounts: White Tiger: (5% Damage / 5% Elemental Damage / 5% Chi) Money King: (5% HP / 5% Delemental Defense / 5% Chi) Red Bull: (5% HP / 5% Elemental Damage / 5% Chi) Moon Dragon: (5% Damage / 5% Attack Rate / 5% Chi) Yellow Herb: (5% Damage / 5% Elemental Defnese / 5% Chi) Chunrok: (5% Critical Chance / 5% Elemental Damage / 5% Chi) Golden Lion: (5% Defense / 5% Dodge / 5% Chi) Source: [Updated : 8/16/2018] Basic Guide for New Players | RedFox Games (playredfox.com) Refine Mount System With this new Refine Mount System players will be able to upgrade several 15% Mounts. Towers Towers are very important for the growth of a faction, tho they need to be defended around the clock due to other factions. To create a tower you must be AFL/FL, then you must have 1 Silver Bar which you obtain from the Gate Master for 500,000,000 Silver, Then you head to the Elder go to Clan Weapons and buy a Construction Scroll, head to one of the 3 maps your faction owns and activate the Construction Scroll. There are 3 types of towers: Rising Force Tower: This tower provides increased CP from PvE and PvP Golden Bridge Tower: This tower provides an increase of silver from grinding Mindfulness Tower: This tower provides an increase of EXP from griding Each tower has 4 levels: Rising Force Tower: Level 1: +1 CP gained from PvM Level 2: +2 CP gained from PvM Level 3: +2 CP gained from PvM and +1 CP Gained from PvP Level 4: +2 CP gained from PvM and +2 CP gained from PvP Golden Bridge Tower: Level 1: 5% Increased silver from PvM Level 2: 10% Increased silver from PvM Level 3: 15% Increased silver from PvM Level 4: 20% Increased silver from PvM Mindfulness Tower: Level 1: 25% Increased Exp from PvM Level 2: 50% Increased Exp from PvM Level 3: 75% Increased Exp from PvM Level 4: 100% Increased Exp from PvM The cost of upgrading these towers are as follows: Level 1: 1 Silver Bar Level 2: 2 Silver Bar's + 1 Mystical Herb Level 3: 3 Silver Bar's + 1 Mystical Herb Level 4: 4 Silver Bar's + 1 Mystical Herb To obtain a Mystical Herb you need to destroy other factions towers, the higher the level of the tower you destroy the higher the % a mystical herb will drop, you also get a set value of CP and Silver when you destroy a tower. Enchanting So you got a rare and are looking to make it better, no problem. You will want a few things first, 1. An item to Upgrade 2. Mats (15%, 12%, 9%, 6%, 3%) 3. Some silver. You will go to the blacksmith and hit upgrade, you can enchant an item to 120% but after 60% the item has a chance to BREAK and that chance increases the higher you go, to prevent an item breaking you can use a (Protection Scroll) from the Item Mall. What I've noticed is that unless it's an ELITE people will not use them until 90% since most don't care if the RARE item breaks. In-Depth Enchantment special Thanks to:Ultratus A big part to enchanting is your luck. while grinding some COMMONS and UNIQUES will drop that have luck on them, if you want to enchant by yourself then you will want to pick them up, if not don't worry normally there will be a max level willing to enchant for you so you don't need these luck items till g4, the most important piece of you luck set is the necklace, when you enchant the necklace it will give you more luck. There is also a skill called GARUDAS PRAYER that will increase your luck by 50% at max level, you can also use Skill capes and + GP boots to get that number up even more. Colors of Enchant: 1 - 59% - Yellow Glow 60 - 89% - Blue Glow 90% - 119% - Purple Glow 120% - Orange Glow Source: [Updated : 8/16/2018] Basic Guide for New Players | RedFox Games (playredfox.com)
Craft/Refine System This is known as the "Refinement System" in other versions of the game, it allows you to do a new type of enhancing on your gear, going up to a maximum of 25. To start with this new system you head over to the Beggar chose the Craft option and put in your gear, There are 2 types of stones you can use Genuine Jade which has a chance to raise the Refine level by 1 and Gold And Silver Stone which has a chance to raise it by 1-3. The Genuine Jade is dropped by PvP and PvE in all Areas and the Gold and Silver Stone is dropped by PvP and PvE (Ivy Hall only). This also has a chance to fail and doing so will degrade or destroy your equipment, Between 0 and 7 your item will not downgrade or be destroyed, going from 7 - 25 has a chance to downgrade or cause your item to be destroyed. To prevent an item from being destroyed you can use a New Moon Charm available from the Herbalist or ItemShop. You want every piece of Gear atleast at Refine Stage 7 since its doable without a Charm and Genuine Jades are cheap these days.
