@LastGoD Aside from the Damage output on Kingpin I don't know why you have it listed as an A+ scroll. And on what planet is Red Rock Ninjutsu a better scroll than Muscle Buster or Tengoryu Karate? Lol

@Yusuke You should probably just let someone with Advanced technical knowledge of the game make an accurate scroll tier list hun. No offense.

 

Well it's not my creation. Let me put up Branz's suggestion.

 

Why did Koroshu beat IBN? I've fought against Koroshu plenty of times and genuinely am not impressed.The only noticeable things that Koroshu has over IBN are the hit stuns/certain frame advantages. One major disadvantage that IBN has are the recoveries from the middle of its hit strings

Honestly just get rid of the whole ,+/- thing for "B" graded since most of how well one does with this category is obtained through constant practice

 

Well Branz's list is out of date right? With the additions of the "Another" series and "Electro" it needs a bit of updating. I can't remeber if there we're other scrolls he didn't include as well.

Yeah that was when red rock first came out and seemed like crane idk what i was thinking thx its around the bottom of B- tier.
@Saiiyuki Kingpin is extremely underrated because almost no one can use it without knowing everything about the scroll. It relies on complete punishment and you need some god tier aim to do its full juggle(or even land its really narrow first kick) outside of a straight platform. But its attack drift and combo mixups are really fierce combined with really high damage as you said. Its counter is very useful for shutting down superior pressure scrolls and giving you wakeup game. The grab recovers really well so if they saver after it you can reach their back by the time they get up. It just requires a radically different playstyle. Took me a while to realize how to play it though. I sold it a while ago, but when I rebuy it I could show you in game.

@RumbleNomad Koroshu is simply better than most scrolls at pressure and reliable damage. Its flaws are low stun like IBN, but IBN lacks damage, a good first kick, and an advantageous grab (things Koroshu has)

 

Regular Infinite Barrage Ninjutsu is awful.

• It has extremely low hit stun and it can be countered basically at every point of its combo. Whether it be a punch or kick input.

• It's kick combo is extremely unsafe on block. Countering it is unnecessary because you can land an entire combo simply by waiting for them to stop kicking. It's kick angles are also awful.

• The damage output is extremely low for all the risk you take attacking in the first place.

• The recovery on most of its moves is extremely low.

Koroshu is more versatile and safe and well rounded despite it having less moves.

• It's kick combo has decent recovery so you can either spam it or counter/block after stopping the combo.

• The damage output is solid.

• The scroll is safe on block to an extent.

 

The another series scrolls are kind of putting their predecessors in the dirt forever. They litertally turned IBNA into edge scroll.

SA...Yeah it pretty much is the one combo one edge scroll...

 

That all sounds good on paper but It's way too unsafe a scroll to be an A+ scroll. At most Id stack it with the A- group. It's a purely punish based scroll yes but it's lack of control and unsafe move selections stifle it from the Hitman/Shoot/Zin TKD level of ranking.

You have to judge these scrolls from the view point of "Both players are at the same skill level". Saying "you have to know what you're doing" disqualifies it right off the bat from an A+ ranking.
