Yes will be nice if we have a little boost, i loved when GC give us the 3th year anniversary set and the +10 weapons, personally i odnt need more then this!
Nothing is given, everything is earned, many have played before 2007. Server will start fresh, the gear you get might be within a Event type only lasting 7D along with the KN gear that drops from NPC. This is the best information can give you at this current time about "free items"
Are you a admin? How the f do you know what we are getting? They gonna have to do some event where we can get the gear we need to start a new, (3rd year set) (XP cards) the works! Why MUST they do this? Because I and many others are sick of being ripped off and treated like **** where 9d publishers are concerned. And they would be lucky if any of us was a glutton for punishment and put ourselves through the inevitable again, and play on this server. They have one thing going for them, that's the KR content, will that be enough to convince people to get shat on again?
I think its even more sad that people spent lots and lots of cash for nothing. That 4th year Anniversary was just a scam to milk the last of the spenders dry. I'm still half convinced that RedFox has something to do with GC, and the whole thing was planned long ago in some sweaty boardroom. Why? From my history of 9d publishers they all seem to be shady as **, and GC was't gonna be able to launch this version without refunding everybody everything.
It's kinda difficult to get everyone satisfied with this opinion. First, I actually like the idea of some starter events - still 9DragonsHermit has a point, it would be unfair for the late joining players. Therefore it shouldn't be something that big. Second I would like to remind you that you always had the option not to spend money on 9Dragons. No publisher ever said that you have to. Therefore Redfox has no reason go give something for ppl. I understand the problem and I had lost a little bit on Acclaim and GC as well but why should I claim something from somebody else?? oO You wouldn't go to your next landlord and tell him to reduce the rent because your previous sucked or went bankrupt - even if, he/she would laugh... No offending answer; I hope you understand the position of others.
This is a old recycled game from 07 not a roof over your head. But if you would like to compare 9d publishes to a 'Landlord' then.... If you got kicked out by your previous 'Landlords' 4 times after you paid for the place to be decorated each time, and then they threw all your belongings into a fire, would you not learn from your mistakes? RedFox owe us nothing, but if im gonna move into the same house my last 4 landlords kicked me out off then it best be newly decorated and they can at least replace my old sofa so I have somewhere to sit down, or I will just move in somewhere else.
I hope that they won't give anything. Everyone must be equal, don't pity me for losing 8 years of investment and don't be kind to the new people. All of us must have an equal chance!
All must have Equal chance is retarded logic yet Give Us Stuff because we want to is sound logic.... i feel sad for you, you played 9d for quite awhile i played it for quite awhile yet nothing entitles you to ask for anything, they have no obligation to give anything and in all fairness all should start equal ... u dont like it.. then dont f-ing play the game and go play w/e game throws stuff at you for free because u want to.
You want to know how I know it is cause have played every 9 Dragons possible. Everyone who runs things differently can tell you from experience when 9 Dragons started you did not get any goodies you had to work for it. That is what is wrong with the game to many greedy little fella's wanting "free items" Do you think another community cares about what you lost or what you put into the game before? Let's look back to Gamer's First, did they have access to the database yes, they did you know what they did? They did character restoration however, items in storage was not recovered! Any so lucky as those who start with events should be grateful, cause many of times it takes a lot of time to make one good event or what others call a major event. For example, Halloween Event, that is a major event many of the 9 Dragons Era's did not start with "free gifts". History is what most fall back onto, it would not surprise me to see starter event or gear that last only few days. Yes, am also sick of being ripped off from the game, however they are smart to add in the content lines. Game or items is only accessible if the game is under the server open clause. If clause of the server where to shut down no one would have access to there previous gear. Who knows what we will start with it could be something, it could be nothing. I am leaning to old ways of nothing, rather you earn that gear & then say you are beast in PK then have gear handed to you & say look at me so cool. Not really cause it was not earned was "free item" either way will be a good start to know what is what.
Im not even going to read FakeHermits wall of text. Dromi I have never once said that some should get items and others should not so stop barking up the wrong tree. I don't give a ** if I get nothing and the XP is **** it would make my decision whether to play here or not a lot easier. Then in a few months all you muppets can cry about the low server population. Luckily enough the admin mentioned something about a starter package, so its good to know they acknowledge the fact that some people are sick of starting over from scratch.
Starting package is a given. Especially when we're dealing with brand new server. The thing is - the package CAN'T include op items. Some stuff in this game just should be limited, earned in the game itself. What use would be refining any weapons starting at +1 if they were to randomly give out +10 weapons as gifts? What use would be making deco, if you get to have permanent deco with good stats as a gift? The list goes on. Sure i'd appreciate some exp or drop cards, perhaps time limited deco, epi, or some relics, but you can't demand items that would just break the game all over again. The best thing about 9d awaken is that they / we get to try to not mess up things this time as they were before
I'm on the side where we shouldn't get free items during the start of OBT. With the war spirit weapons, we'll get over powered anyways. During CBT though, giving something minor as a start (so that we can quicker focus on finding bugs instead of having to find suitable gear to do so first). Besides, everything during CBT will be deleted after it's done anyways. I am however definitely not talking about these +10 weapons or anniversary sets. Maybe something along the lines of 200/300 defsets.
Have been wondering my self, if it is GC or run the same way as GC did I'll be outta here fast. No way will I spend a lot of cash on some damned boxes in the hope of getting something half worth while, stupid not just pay to win, but pay to gamble to perhaps win... Back on topic, WTH people asking before a game starts that they want higher end freebies. play the game for what it is, obtain gear the normal way, were all in the same boat at the start.
Many like myself started from beta and no gear we worked hard to get to where we are at like HG 5 lost a lot from old publisher and got some too just want to see what this one will do for us
