Should I grow my hair out long or get a buzz cut type haricut

hair when it's long: (sophmore year when it was long)
when its short: (just came out shower) (month old)

 

Your hair is gonna take forever to really get long so just grow it out and fade the sides
If you have a beard trim that as well or ask your barber
Other then that remember to oil and condition your hair
Your hair seems soft tho so i wouldnt mind to much about the latter
