1. [The Term : Formation] The term 'formation' is well know among wuxia novels fans. It is used in chinesse martial arts novels and movies and describe a battle field where is cast a tactic or a spell. In 9Dragons Awaken the term is used usually like a map buff formed by three buffs that are activated when 3 different stones or piles or stones are pressed on. 2. [Reference] In 9Dragons Awaken the reference to the formation are made in three Tibet quests : RTE : Roaring Formation RTE : Iron Armor Formation RTE : Rapid Formation We find out from the quest information that teh locals came across a giant rock with a roaring tiger on it. They found some documents in the village and they and translate them. They understand that is a powerful thing, but don't know what it is. They send you to investigate it because they think they can use it agains their enemies. Later on, as the formations are activated they help the locals against the fight with Deviant Clans. From here the fight who will take control over the formation starts. 3. [Activation/Capture] To activate the formation you have to charge the stones/formation which are spread in three areas on the map. Once a zone is activate a buff will be active too. After you gain control over the three areas a final buff will be activated, which means that you captivated the formation map buff that will be active for your clan (Imperial/Deviant) over an hour. After one hour you must recharge again the formations. If a formation is already taken by a clan you have to wait another hour to reclaim it and you can't form the 'Captivity Formation'. Your clan will get only that fromation buff. 4. [ The Buffs & Formations ] https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-eVqEXGGK-**/W1rXWyO3W1I/AAAAAAAAH88/9hns0wP3JIc0o_RkHerTZUJ4O_vlViZCgCLcBGAs/s1600/2.png 5.
