As old as this game is, the Dev's have had plenty enough $, Time and Resources to upgrade at least 9D to a newer version of DirectX by now. Took them years to fix KL crashes and make a worthless Kung Fu Arena, so they have no excuses to not have updated DirectX from 9 to at least 11. They are more interested in copy&pasting mobs and bad ass events (RF's Fault as well). Get on the ball, our money needs to be shown and not put just in RF's pocket and the Dev's!
They also need to fix the following: Select character going to title screen. Unable to equip any relic, use manuals, books when you are doing dungeons for longer time. Says lacking constitution when you try to equip relic. Weapon skills disappearing from skill bar when you relog. (Sometimes) fog remains when you leave sf base and hainan and go to other maps.
Yeah bro, totally agree, I think it would be great to just upgrade the graphics and leave everything else as it is. Because the essence of this game is the story, which is the six gangs, each gang’s unique martial arts actions and each gang’s unique clothes. These contents are good enough, so players would rather continue playing with such rough picture quality. and be willing to pay real money for this game.
I agree that the game needs to be updated to a more modern 64 bit client, together with a DirectX 11 jump. It should improve stability and performance for many people. I have been away for quite some time and returned to see two new maps, both of which seem to consist of mostly copy pasted assets and mobs. Most of the new content and quests feel somehow cheaply made, poorly translated and executed. Feels like a 1-man work on the development end, which is weird considering the money they should be getting from all western servers combined, together with their big Korean server. Let's hope that 2024 will surprise us all with something actually exciting, that is not a reskin or Item Shop 'event'
