Have an 18+/explicit/hardcore server of the game where the community can be toxic and overly competitive. Have a separate server where people can be kind and casual. That way the community won't take a hit. my stance: I'm an old OGP player of this game, I'd love to see a revival. Toxicity and negative emotions and hyper-competitive attitudes cannot be moderated or reasoned out of people. So why not allow "channels" for people to freely express those attitudes? I really want to see this game stand the test of time, and I believe 100% that with a proper campaign, this game can see INSANE expansion. Rumble Fighter will ALWAYS have that power.
All I got from this was you want all the immature GROWN ADULTS to be able to be childish because they have no actual self control. This made sense to you to say? I see why the game is dead. All that can easily be moderated, do it on your main and watch it get perm banned. You'll think twice next time. You should be happy they allow you people to be toxic and obnoxious honestly without consequence. This is at least top 7 dumbest ideas I've seen ever proposed for this game.
LMFAO, your the only one who is sane. Fax yesterday we got two goof ball I think one is called JugglemeElmo or some sht bro was saying that he'll find this player and beat his azz open handed. LMFAO i think RF is alrdy 18+ enough.
Maybe it's because I wasn't in at what would be considered a prime time for people to be online but from my initial experience, I had an okay time online. Yeah, the game is REALLY dead though, unfortunately but I'm not going to rag on it. Truth be told, this game is a relic of its time and the game needs a LOT more extensive updating from what I've experienced: - the game is poorly optimized for current PC systems - Load screens shouldn't take as long as they do on systems in these days to load game resources (and I don't mean just the loading of players, that's a thing in itself that can't be helped without doing something to the game's netcode) - A lot of QoL things that should be common for at least a small fighting game as this should be implemented (like controller setup in the settings menu.....that's something I've been talking about since the OGPlanet days) But I'm getting side tracked from the subject at hand. Adding a new server won't help matters in this case if what you're saying is a thing. Besides, for a very small and niche game as this, adding a new server when I'm pretty sure the whales aren't supporting this game enough as it is isn't going to make a expensive venture as opening a new server seem very cost effective......maybe make new channels would a better cost efficient option. Players not doing their part in report disruptive behavior is a thing as well but if staff doesn't do nothing about it then well.....it just simply means the publisher just doesn't GIF enough about the community here to help it. From the comments the guys above me put out, I get the perception that people just don't care and just go along with the trait of thought to act just as toxic as everyone else....since that seems to be the norm now (unlike how it was to some degree back on OGPlanet). At any rate, unless the publisher acts and actually do their job and moderate their games like they supposed to, don't expect any change to happen. Not trying to be negative but that's the way things seems to be heading from my point of view (this is coming from a former S4 League GM, mind you. Trust me when I say I know how these things work to a certain point).
I was one of the 5% of players during the OGP days that wasn't toxic. There were some but you REALLY had to look for them. But yeah, you'll be lying to yourself if you really believe that there weren't any toxic players during the OGP days.....that s**t was rampant during prime-time hours of game play.....ain't not way you couldn't have noticed that unless you were playing with a very closed group of friends. Only then would you not see it.
Aegis' og too. lol I can confirm your post as well, but the fact, if you been in my Old Guild War in OGP. It will be different story that you wont be that 5% of the players during OGP day. Because Megaphone existed. When Rumble Fighter moved to GameScampus that is where two nations has became together and you see more toxic player anywhere in rumble fighter.
i was exaggerating and half-joking because of how many these weird threads and new users came out of no where this late for rf on a life support. anyways i think i was 13 or 14 years old when I played ogp rf. I didnt rly have friends at that time until 1-2 years later. boy, it was completely different and dangerous af back then for my 13 years brain with toxicity everywhere. this game def influenced and shaped who i am today.
dude. I love this comment haha. Let me ask you something. If Casinos and Strip clubs exist in the real world, for GROWN ADULTS to go and waste their hard-earned money on an addiction or indulgence, If those types of businesses are open for people to satisfy their sense of lust and greed, Why can't Rumble Fighter be advertised and used as a business for people to express their Wrath, Pride, and Fighting Spirit? If Casinos and Strip clubs are moving SERIOUS REVENUE, why can't Rumble Fighter be used to channel that same natural human expression? My proposal SEEMS dumb because it's unconventional. But I guarantee you this, it's damn sure profitable and will ensure revival
Lol. Here's a clip from me in middle school. I was on both sides, healthy and toxic Oh, and I got perma-banned from OGP for correctly guessing GM35's password. When I logged on, I flexed and told people I used a software to crack his password. They believed me.
yea i remember that as well. thats wild we had in there. lmao the hell is better than here censorship and kiddie cry.
