FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions General Q : What if none of my team can record? How do we participate then? A : You can schedule with [TA]Fang to have your entry recorded for you. However, depending on the stage, you may need to do the stage with 3 members instead of 4 due to some stages having a maximum of 4 players. Q : Are there any stat restrictions? If so, what are they? A : There are no stat restrictions for this event. Q : Why can't I use ExoCores for this event? Wouldn't that make it super difficult? A : Since we want this event to be skill based, the use of ExoCores will be restricted unless stated otherwise. We want every player to have a fair shot at completing the challenge. ====================================================== Survival Q : Are potions allowed? What about "Hit & Run" tactics? A : Your goal is to survive until the very end, so you may attack and run away from the boss to heal up your HP if it's low. However, the longer you stall... the longer you suffer. Ha Ha! Frenzy Q : What are some tips to help me complete the Boss Mode faster? A : Make sure you aren't knocking down enemies. For maps that rely on a lot of foot movement (travel distance), having more speed will help too. Invincible Q : What do you mean by "without taking any damage at all" in the challenge? A : Any form of HP loss, including using scrolls that sacrifice HP or falling off the stage will be considered damage.
Our team tested it and it was difficult but possible. The key is to ensure that you free your team member from the boss's seduce or you'll instantly lose a team member. Yes. Same squad for all three because you can only enter with one squad.
A. If players have SP to HP items will it be suspected that they are using exos? If so, I'd suggest to add a note stating not to use these for the event. B. If someone is lagging like (ban me for language) and they are underground on the recording does it still count or do we need to restart?
The purple gauge will go down if someone even equips an ExoCore, so if their SP starts dropping and the purple gauge doesn't decrease then it should be obvious someone is using an item/accessory/Avalon to convert their SP to HP
When are the prizes going to be delivered? At the end of the event as usual (so a month from now) or everytime a set of vids is reviewed the team is going to get the prize?
Once your video is reviewed and confirmed would be so much better and actually make sense, plus it would make more people want to participate in the event. But.. It's Rumble Fighter lmfao
Am I allowed to participate on multiple teams? Not for more rewards just to he question answered already
A : Most items that heal your HP per X seconds are usually slow enough that we'll see when it happens. As Draygashi said, if the purple gauge doesn't drop at all then you should be good. If you're caught cheating, you and your team will be disqualified from the event for the month and will be subject to an in-game ban of a minimum of 30 days. B : We would prefer for the recorder to be lag free so that staff members and other players can catch on the action. If there are minor lag spikes, that's fine since I understand not every player has a PC designed for streaming and recording. However, if we can't even see what's going on half of the time... it's pretty pointless to begin with. Depending on the number of entries, we can distribute it in waves. However, the current decision is to be distributed after the event ends on January 5th, 2020. You cannot help or participate in multiple teams, even without the intent of additional rewards. However, you can do practice runs with other users if you'd like.
Hey, RF Crew I may i request if you guys could pardon the ruling of the “video beginning in the lobby and ending at the results screen.” I’m not saying toss it out , it’s the fact that inexperienced streamers like myself use “WIN + G” and was not able to capture the lobby scene due to my misunderstanding of the app.
This ruling is there to ensure that no "tricks" or "glitches" were used upon start and finish of the run. I had a quick look at your submission and it's fine, don't need to worry.
