Great scroll. They went FAR back in time for this one.
this scroll is garbage tf u mean great scroll.
All it's combos are either safe or positive on block, its only garbage if you cant aim/delay
Oh, this scroll is awesome. My personal favorite to date for sure. The combos are pretty safe, however none of them are plus on block. In fact there's so little hitstun on some of the (mid combo) attacks that if you delay whatsoever (without hitting them from the beginning of the combo) youre getting the next hit blocked.
Also, just because they use a stance that a suggestion clearly ripped from another fighting game and combos from that same character doesn't mean it's player suggested. It just means another person clearly played the same popular fighting game and cloned their bread and butter combos for RF. If someone were to create original strings and detailed the dynamics of the attacks that would be different.
Low hit stun yes but still positive most of the time on block because of how fast the inputs come out.
And yeah this is a totally different scroll than Shattering Hand, if anything Bash captures how much of a weirdo Silber from KOF / Buriki One was to play than Shattering Hand.
Kinda sad they didnt give Bash Silber's Counter :/ @Starberry make this change happen
im trying to say the whole scroll in general looks like shít, not that the actual combos are effective or not. Not one smooth animation. None of the combos mix well at all and all the animations look like utter shít. It's good that they're making stuff again but it is trash. It is better than the usual box rotations so atleast that is something.
Even if this was a free perm scroll i still wouldn't take it. Would much rather take 10 carats over having this clogging my scroll inventory up. Do you know how many seconds i waste searching for scrolls when im in a lobby? Quite a few.
the scroll stance looks like someone's been constipated for days
Look up Silber gameplay from KOF 11, Bash is very accurate to how stiff / jerky Silber was. Its not like we havent had stiff scrolls before i.e. Vale Tudo. Also, just like Silber, the scroll HITS LIKE A TRUCK. Average first punches do 80 and kicks do 90; Bash does 85 and 125 respectively.
ok but it doesn't change the fact that this scroll looks like utter shít
delay between button press and the first kick becoming active is wack af
True but its basically a sliding AOE tho, cant expect it to be good at everything.
Subjective but I see where you are coming from. I mean its accurate to source material and not recycled so its got credit there.
That's what makes it balanced tho. I love it personally
This feels like a bit of a stretch. It could definitely use a bit of polishing for sure, but the scroll flows pretty well for the most part. The only attacks that look a little wonky are
KP on wiff
The dive kick animation of both PPKK and KKPKK itself looks really good, it's just too fast for the flip animation they gave it so it looks goofy.
The PK and PP animations are gorgeous.
The PK seems bad at first but it's honestly my favorite attack in the whole combo list. It doesn't link as a true combo (like defaults kick combo) but hits wide and offers a solid counterpunch option. I know you weren't talking about the scroll's performance but I think it's so well balanced it needs to be spoken on.
Maybe I’m constipated
Bro what? This scroll is the nicest I've seen in a minute. I would be gobsmacked if they didn't put the permanent version in a box lmfao. So enjoy it while you can.
its nice that people like this scroll though. Haven't heard people praising something new in here for a while. looks like trash to me tho so im not gonna use it.
Its a common thing in fighting games for certain chars to feel "natural on your hands" and others the opposite so I getcha, thats how I feel when playing 90% of the Tekken roster.
Boxing a scroll with this level of balance would be gigantic slap in the face. This scroll is perfectly on par with scrolls like Volt and Gungki.
Its not gonna get boxed and likely neither will Wind Shooter.
