Cant play game [FIXED]

When I launch the game start from the launcher it just freezes up and drops me to my desktop. Why would this be happening? I dont see any servers or anything, dont get that far.

 

The same thing is happening to me. TwelveSky2.exe crashes halfway through the opening movie. I've gone through all my usual troubleshooting procedures and come up with nothing.

 

I dont even get to the opening intro movie, it just closes the launcher and nothing happens.

 

The problem was that I needed to add the launcher to avg exceptions, however now it wont start because Gameguard is throwing a 114 error. FML!

UPDATE: Adding the game folder to exceptions fixed the issue for me.

where that exception AVG or firewall?

 

Adding the exception to AVG solved the issue.
