The backlash perhaps made them rethink things? I think alienating people with outdated hardware is plenty enough a reason not to add graphical updates. At the same time, people need to realize it's not 2010 anymore. If your computer can't handle new textures, maybe you're due for an upgrade.

Why do people still even run games on hardware that is from 2001?
You do realize that most Computers and Laptops nowadays, even low end ones, can run Battlefield 4 no problem with 30 frames?

 

This looks amazing. It'd be dope if you could add an animation for whenever someone falls in the water but that sounds impossible. That's besides the point! Keep it up Rioda!

I didn't combine them, just as @BJJFromGJJ said, I made the textures myself.
It's just inspired by Sky Eden.​

Well I'll try to create new textures for a map, if it ends up good I'll publish it. I'll need feedback. I'll try this today at home

Very cool concept. I saw you guys asking for a Moon retexture so I took a shot at it, and after an hour or so of struggling with Photoshop, here's my attempt at Daylight Valley, I also changed the stage image to seem more fitting:



It's by no means perfect, and all credit goes to Rioda for the idea of course.
If anyone's interested in the download, or has other map ideas, let me know.

Daylight Valley was never my idea.
Not sure whose it was.
Map looks alright but I think you over saturated it or something because there's like random colors showing up everywhere.
Also the cacti should be green.
Otherwise, it really does look like a Sunlight Valley. (Sunlight Valley makes more sense than Daylight Valley)
It really does take a long time to make retextures.
My Eden Cove alone took 3 days of work and motivation.
Glad we pulled through.
