    Amazing.

    NimoniX tried to retexture some old maps, but it ended up having graphics issues with the majority of the community, which is why Risky Escape (Old) is played more than Risky Escape (New).

    My question is, do these retextures share the same graphic related problems?

    Think you can do a similar retexture to Moonlight Valley, except make it day time with the same desert theme?

    No, there would be no errors while using this retexture, it's as safe as playing on regular Glacier Cove.
    Daylight Valley might be possible but it depends on the global lighting of the map.
    I'll do some tests and figure it out.​

    Here's the file for my current Daylight Valley map,

    It took Lavis a hefty amount of research to find the border in what will show in the background.

    The thick borders on the top and sides are what the color of little small pillars in the background are

    and at the end just save it as a Canyon-BG_night.tga file

    They did make an attempt to retexture old maps. The problem is the majority of the community is still using outdated hardware to play the game. That is why Nimonix brought back the old maps.
