Will Red Fox give us the excitement we once used to feel?

Some of ya might not agree with me, and ask me "What are you talking about." Blah blah blah.
Well back in the days when I was still in school, all that I could think about was school and rf. I was so eager to get on rf after school because it was so fun and active. I also used to be part of a baseball team but that's not relevant, I wasn't full on slob. Anyways, slowly the fun is fading away. I don't know why but it is. I hate to bring it up but old gens will know what I'm talking about. Back in the days it was different and you could feel how competitive the game used to be. Now all that I see is people cheaply killing you, pking you and using the most ridiculous ways to edge you. I do not find that fun, I could do the same thing but that kills me inside. Like I said before, maybe some of ya might like that but to me I find it very boring. Will rf keep making lame exos/scrolls or will they stop making exos/scrolls for a bit and actually planning it? I remember back in ogp they would take forever to make new scroll and exo but it would be very good and fun. I know this is not ogp and ogp wasn't all that because of the management but this company has great management, so all that I think it needs is creativity. Quality vs quantity right?

Any feed back?

They will continue to make those exos and scrolls cause they need money.

 

The company makes most of their money off of scrolls, exocores,and boxes. They won't stop making them. Also, you can't get cheaply killed unless your playing on a map where edges are everywhere(Moon). What I propose, to bring back the competitve scene on this game, is to just make better events. I never did any events on GC(Throw downs, nothing). Hopefully RedFox can come up with some exciting events. As for content patches, this is something RedFox would have to bring up with Nimonix. We just have to keep suggesting and see if our suggestions come to life. My last though is this. We can never change the way other players play, so just adapt.

 

IMO the game is more competitive now than it was back then. We have evolved and have more options to choose from.

Low-Jump
Panic Break
R-Break
Resets
Air Grab

Just how you maneuver in general can affect the match. People even incorporate emotes during their fights as a sort of mind game.


Back then fights felt more "2D"
We wouldnt be drifting much and we'd be fighting left to right or up and down for majority of the fight. People wouldnt mix up combos.

Like a str build striker vs a default elementalist. Or any default that isn't alch. Because if they touch you, you eat ****.

Ha U can tell RF has less players than at ogp because there was a lot of people on free channel + all the other channels. Lol Now its just the Free channel and its clear theres less people who play.

 

I remember first starting off and I had plenty of times to progress, because I was playing with people on my level. Now, if someone starts off they have to play in a room where everyone has op stuff. I just thank God I started RuF with everyone in my school

 

@LilPastry just because YOU can't participate in spenders doesn't mean we don't need them
They make $$ off spenders and the community wants it. You might even get a gift out of it considering the fact that some people would host events(once gifting comes back obviously).

I'd don't think you'll feel the same excitement at 20 years old as you did when you were 13 about a fighting game.

 

The truth in this is crazy.

 

I just feel there's more to events than DUUR MONEY 4 RARE PLS

Ga2 doesn't constantly do spenders

LS doesn't constantly do spenders

Nor do they feverishly beg for them.


I feel part of the fun at OGP was all the dif kind of events

Man i always think about this Damn man how fun it used to be glad to see OGP players still thinking of wow it really was fun man really miss the damn good old days

 

Please don't ever compare RF to any other game because it isn't like the other.
Spender is what keeps the game alive in case you didn't know. You not spending a dime isn't. I'm not trying to blame you for RF's misfortunes but your not realizing that this game doesn't run on air.
