Here's a list I sort of made up on my spare time. The list is not the most accurate, so feel free to post your own version of the rare scroll tiers (or other tier lists if you don't find rares that interesting). I also may be missing a few scrolls, so feel free to also point those out. This thread is also a wake-up call for the current posted tier list to update. I may try doing a rare exocores tier list but I don't use exocores enough to be even close to credible.

Judged by: Fence-edging/Edging capabilities, Omni-grab capabilities, Blockstun/Hitstun, Unblockable capabilities, Bu-launching capabilities, Reset/Infinite combo capabilities, Priority+Invincibility, Damage, Recoveries, and Hitboxes

In other words, it's rated by its performance in all playable modes + maps, and not limited to only 1vs1 + no-edge maps

Note: The scroll order is actually rated, so whatever that's above is more powerful

@Shana If it makes a difference, Zin TKD (R) has 10 Advanced Nanmus, 1 Semi Reset (No wall), and 1 Infinite Reset (Wall)

It has a semi reset without a wall?

I moved it a bit higher

Sumo BF LE can still infinitely reset. Yellow Dragon had its infinite reset (wall) unpatched. BWN (R) has an infinite reset (wall)

I also don't think some of the scrolls you listed "(after nerf)" have been nerfed previously such as Ice Breaker SFV / S SFV and BWN (BK)

I heard from some players that the Ice Breaker S >>G was originally unblockable

BWN (BK) is pretty much original BWN with the nerfed KKKK blockstun, so I labelled it (After Nerf) cuz of that

I also moved scroll placements again, according to your findings

To be honest, BWN and BWN (BK)'s blockstun on KKKK felt the same.

I don't really know the difference myself tbh

this info was from Galdiera's (or some other person) finding of BWN's KKKK blockstun feeling different (back in Gamescampus forum). Either this was unpatched, or there's a clear difference through his eyes

edit: the blockstun I'm referring to is the KKKK finisher, which was well-known to be loaded with blockstun, so much that it's either safe-on-block or advantageous-on-block, similar to original Destroyer's KKKKK finisher. The stun on BWN's first, second, and third kick are pretty much the same.

Yeah, I was talking about the finisher as well. Unless they updated BWN (BK), it was originally the same as regular BWN.

I'll assume it didn't get nerfed now

until someone spots the difference lol

    I'll raise its tier accordingly

Also Abyss BF LE can still infinitely reset (they did slightly nerf it making it harder like Sumo BF LE, but both are still possible)

Also how were Fearless and Fearless Black nerfed?

Oh I forgot about the Abyss BF LE infinite

The second punch of un-nerfed Fearless is unblockable from front and back (because of the transition speed of 1st to 2nd punch, and enormous stun), giving it properties of a kick combo, rather than a punch combo. When this got removed, it was no longer considered op in the community

Ah, forgot about that. It was only for Fearless and not Fearless Black though.

Also, you can still block mid-nanmu for both of them... o_O

Not sure I agree with some of the placement. Sage Master is incredibly slow and predictable.

I've always stuck with the notion that the strength of the scroll depends on the skill of the user, but nice list.

    (where's default tho?)

Wait....Fearless Black is the un-nerfed version???? I'll need to look into this later. I'm going to assume you're right and bring it back to its former high tier placement.

No, the original glitch only happened to Fearless and not to Fearless Black as they fixed Fearless before Fearless Black was released.

Sage Master is death to all lurers lol. That playstyle pretty much is prevalent in today's meta, cuz most are sooooo scared to initiate the attacks. Since Sage Master has the best initiation power cuz of its high priority attacks, and largest blockstuns/hitstuns in the game (well...Taekkyon has the highest but w/e), combined with the largest hitboxes in the game, and fastest guardbreaker [with 360 hitboxes] in the game, and uncounterable, the opponent is forced to play aggressive and not rely on turtle+punish playstyles.

And because of Sage Master's ridiculous assets, it's even more hard to initiate against it. It has very large anti-airs, making jump-ins useless. And you can't really play a very strong spacing game, since the hitboxes outrange everything else.

I would put default if it was a rare lol
