Punishment for Hacker/Cheater/Bug-Exploiter?

Lastest news: Modified/bugged weapon!

On May 07, 2016, there was a player, Shaolin warrior, named YaB, used a bugged damage weapon in a public place in pvp. The modified weapon was such strong enough to kill every one and everything within 1 hit. That date the server witnessed not only the deaths of innocent players but also the deaths of NPC Tibet Guards (one of the most powerful NPC created to keep game balanced). Everything was killed within one single hit.

An investigation from RedFox GM claims that YaB had discovered and was the first one to use the bug since last month. After the community figured out the story, YaB, currently, is being banned for 7 days.

The reason for the short banning is that YaB was a "good member". All topics in forum about YaB and modified weapons are deleted by GM Ahri. However, some threads, which were cre ated and posted YaB, are still kept but closed. Visit forum for details.

P/s: hack/bug/cheat don't matter. How the admins deal with them matters.

What do you think about the punishment has been given in the case above?

 

I think he should get banned for the time he used the exploit, so then the community can catch up. But yea I understand, 7 day banned is nothing for exploiting for a few months. GM's are very unfair and they basically support exploiting. This is disappointing because GM's support exploiting which is disgusting to see and this will chase away many players.
