Need some help

Was wondering if anyone is willing to take the time to help me with my laptop
Here is the story
I downloaded rf before with speed almost instant download but
Lately it's downloading slow or not at all like Rn I can't even download rf it stays 1%
I think it's my security setting or something was wondering if anyone is willing to take a few minutes to help me and get me set up o.-

 

I had same thing with Chrome it stucked on 99% than i used good old Explorer and took me 5 min to download try other browser

 

I tried other browers it's same thing qq

 

I am assuming you are using windows 7. Click start button.

1:Go to "Device Manager"
2: Double click "Network Adapter"
3:Right click your adapter and click "properties"
4:Go to "Advanced"
5:"Speed and Duplex" and set it to "10 Mbps Full Duplex" if 10 Mbps Full Duplex try the other options.

Note: This is what I had to do to fix my internet connections in the past.
I am not 100% sure if it will work for you. If it doesn't work, just report back(Also report if it does work).

Make sure you have more than enough space available in your hard drive. Browser doesn't really matter, it takes a while downloading it from this site.

May I ask what is security program that you have equipped?

 

McAfee

Nope doesn't work I don't know if it's connection maybe I should just upgrade to Windows 10?

 

Im for real . i rlly had to download RF with Explorer xD cuz Chrome stucked downloading at 99% ,so i guess Browser matter (atleast on my shhtty Laptop xD)

 

Qqqqqqqqq got 40 or so mins till launch I must play help!

 

You could always try disabling McAfee and attempt to redownload.

 

Yea I disabled the firewall still nothing qq

 

Tried it on Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox, and Opera and all had the same 'sit at 99%' reaction~

Make sure it's turned off while downloading/installing/playing it, McAfee, Avast and Norton are known to pick up false positives with this game. I'm not sure how McAfee works with adding programs to the exception list, but I could find out if you want~

It downloads slow in general, but is your connection slow? Is you computer old?

 

My ping is 27ms my download speed is 0.95 Mbps upload speed is 7.68 Mbps is that good? And I have a Hp laptop um if u have kik I can send u a picture not too smart with these things

 

Did another test and everything went up a Bit

 

Are you using LAN? Have you tried using a different network/computer?

 

So i can download other games just not rf ugh whats going on mangg
