Well, KB4088875 windows update block the communication of gameguard to security server. He should check that. If it is on, he should uninstall. Antivirus, especially Avira has a problem with host file and permission. You can't change the file. Than discord have a pb with gameguard.Quit discord. Just look into windows, event viewer at windows log, system. There should be some red flags. Check them.
