You can make it without spending money, but like most 'Free To Play' games, it's a longer process than actually spending money. The game is fun regardless, and it's recommended to make new friends, because nothing is better than tossing your friends off the maps or giving them the good o'l knuckle sandwich. Welcome and enjoy your stay. Your best bet is to watch for events as well~

Lol even if you offered that much money, it's not enough to keep the game afloat. If it's really is shutting down, have you tried contacting the developers about a private server to play on?

 

RF is mostly skill based since a bad player with the best stats could lose to a good player with trash stats. If you want stats you can spend money but I wouldn't recommend it until you are at least decent in skill level. Stats can be nice but they're not required though. Just find a scroll you like and git gud. Also, do not bother with rares. Just don't. Perm rares are hard to get because the RNG gods are rarely nice to anyone.

 

So I guess they really only plan on keeping Shot Online huh.. What will become of the Tartaros project?
