    What do you think of a "Draft" function on the forums where someone can have a draft of a thread ready for posting for the future? That way, we won't be seeing as much cluttered threads on the suggestions section (or any section in general) of the forums until they are ready for posting.

    This would work with the whole "thread moderation" thing where the people themselves can "review" their thread before sending it off for moderator approval... and then finally seen by the public.

    You know, similar to how there's a First Reading and then Second Reading in presenting a new law.

    The issue is that you'd be expecting players to thoroughly think through their posts before posting, which doesn't always happen... heh. Also, we wouldn't want the staff to "judge" suggestion posts before they are approved, since it might give the wrong impression that the ones that get approved will be implemented. I think in particular to suggestions, sometimes a one-liner suggestion could spark an idea for someone else, etc etc.

    Lastly, I think leaving players to "queue" their posts would be kinda chaotic, especially if one person writes ~50 drafts and unleashes them all at once haha. On the other hand, someone might accidentally send their post to be saved as a draft and complain when they don't see it in the forums.

    It's an interesting idea, but it's pros/cons seem pretty equal right now.

    Is using macros considered "using a third party program"?

    since the macros are done through another software that compliments their keyboard.


    So would that mean macros are not allowed?

    I appreciate your time in responding to my idea.

    As for some concerns - I'll address them.

    The whole "queue" posting that may be associated with my idea... you'll be able to only make one draft post on each sub-forum (example : one in General Discussion, one in Suggestions) so that it cannot be abused. As for accidental draft posting - there should be a "Confirm" popup right before you finalize everything.

    This will require possibly some recoding on the forums.

    Any more concerns? I can address them here. :)
