Everytime I try starting the game, it just stops at the gameguard process. No messages or anything, it just stops. Though one time I got a blue screen with the message "critical error died," and had to restart my computer. Hasn't happened in the dozens of times I've tried to start the game since then. I was able to run the game fine yesterday though, and there aren't any other issues with my computer at all.
Have you made any recent changes to your computer since you were last able to play? Try deleting your GameGuard folder, and relaunching the game. As well, disable any antivirus software and any unnecessary \programs running in the background.
disabling the antivirus worked. It's weird though, because before I was able to have my antivirus running while playing RF. Either way, I appreciate the help, guys
