Hello, I have three characters on my account. I deleted one of the characters to create a new one and now it says I have to wait 5days to create a new character. GM can you please remove this waiting delay. Thanks in advance
Unfortunately, our team is unable to help assist with the 5 day wait. I am afraid that you'll need to wait it out.
Exactly the same thing happened to me, I don't know what they want to avoid with these 5 days to be able to create a new character when you delete one from your account, I guess it's to avoid some bug exploit because otherwise it doesn't make any sense, I think they should also allow 5 characters in each account
It is infact to avoid exploits. Although many players won't attempt to do so, there is a population that would. We thank you for your understanding on the matter.
I deleted a character that I didn't like, but it was the only one I had created and, well, now I don't have characters and I have to wait 5 days without playing
I have same problem few weeks ago too. 3 char slots, made 2 char and 1 free slot. Deleted 1 char char and cannot make another char even when 3rd char slot is suppose to be empty and not used before. Stupid system.
Exactly this happened to me, missed x3 event.. I did this on the x3 event, took me 2 hours to get HG4 (Skill training was kinda the longest term in this process lol) This delete topic is a major bug (or a really bad workaround from devs) and has to be fixed in the coming iterations.
With Patch 227, character delete and creation rules have changed. If you delete a character level 12+, new character creation will be restricted for the next five days. This information also shows up on the character deletion screen. https://forums.playredfox.com/index...2-29-20-patch-227-complete.51929/#post-497792
Well this still sounds like a bad workaround for fixing an exploitable bug for me. The thing you even change your character delete and creation rules doesnt really make it sound better. Easy way to complete tickets haha
You guys should really revert this change and only implement it when there is an event in which there are daily quests involved. I always see people asking about this and I dont see the reason behind having during nonevent times...
So to stop the few you hinder the rest? Don't you say you will perma ban those who exploit events? Why not just leave it at that and ban those accounts? Why not just put a timer where a character cant be deleted for 5 days upon creation?
So you guys can't say "that doesn't sound like a good idea" or "lets take a poll with the players to see what they think?" You guys just have to put out whatever they give you and take the ridicule from the community?
It's not the devs idea, so dont let RF lie to you, it's their idea, to stop ppl long ago from making chars and deleting them to get random rewards. Just admit it RF that this was done back when you banned a ton of ppls chars for making accounts and deleting their chars to collect the WSC and things back when you 1st got the game.
Hi @CaptainSaveAhoE If you mean to offend the team in all your posts, you disagree with the rules we have set for this community. Feel free to give your opinion. But respect the Forum Rules and Guidelines, and by this, I mean keeping the respect to the team behind the game because, despite your opinion and what you are picturing for the game, we are treating our user base with respect and explaining each decision with transparency.
So a minority is creating some really annoying things in our game.. like the login screen where you have to pick 3 chars like the pincode you have to use to login like the 5 days wait for creating a new character this is just bugfixing in a very bad way. fix the login issue with the chars+pin, make sure that a login is safe (why do other publishers dont have a 3 char window?) why enter a pin? other games dont have that.. exploit a daily/char based event, make it a 3 count (3 chars) based on ip, and you dont have any issue, or, make it for 1 char on an account (not preferable) Fix issues the right way, and never forget your majority, never
