He must be love to teach da people more than I do af :< cuz when i try to teach da people and all of them tell me that i teach them are better than their instructors.
We'll figure something out for server/connections As for staff, we don't really need a whole giant team to make this game. Even for RF they didn't have that many people working on the game.
Gonna need to shave those pectorals down a few halves of an inch. Also the Popeye limbs, they're charming and they should be a male character thing only.
Update. Facial expressions complete. I think they'll be placeholders for now since they look awfully close to the 'Intense eyes'.
These are horrifying, the proportions (specifically the waist area) really need some work (look up some material on proportions and anatomy). Too muscley and curvy, the polycount seems way too high for a base model. the one on the right looks better but that neck looks a little long. You should bring an artist/designer on board to get a style locked down to work with and build on. And since you're doing this all on your own (with no devs) for free I don't see this going much further. but good luck!
"Since you're doing this all on your own (with no devs)..." indeed, he do have devs. That's our game af. They look good, but surely we need help with the looks. But hey, it's new game we are going to forward. But boy ever you had a boyfriends? How about little baby fat guy, the average guy, and how about who has never skip da gym? Compare 'em to this? I ain't mad, but we like you cuz you shet on him to make us improve and never stop improve af.
I'm getting strong vibes of: Spoiler don't let that be the final model. It needs to be like a blank canvas for players to do whatever they want with it. Keep the body slim and neutral, it just makes it harder to work with clothes in the future. and not everyone wants to be a buff character (can add that option later). and I gym so I'm my own sexy boyfriend. and artist. EDIT I drew up some rough examples real quick. Keep it slim and neutral. Spoiler Spoiler
Of nothing ,dont listen to him . It looks like his brain got damaged by playing some pedo game way to much
K. All I have to do is redraw the textures and maybe streamline the shoulders and calf muscles a little, and widen the waist area. Other than that, it’s the EXACT same thing as the rf model. You’re trippin’ Poly count is higher because this isn’t a game from 2004.
I drew up some examples. (You can easily download and trace over this with the 3D model) Again, I'm getting strong vibes of: Spoiler And I'm not ragging on you. I'm trying to be constructive here. I even spent time drafting material for you to reference. it's not like you have any art directors onboard helping you out with this.
I can't help but feel like this is worded by someone who doesn't normally critic other people, in reality you should have said something along the lines of "Hey, if you are going to use this as a final model it would be a good idea to give players other options with other models." Because what you're insinuating (not what you actually mean) is that the model is trash and needs to be scraped is not necessary or constructive. My other gripe is the whole if "too muscley, too curvey" is a problem then Street Fighter and Tekken have a bone to pick with you, but seriously I told him last week about the chest and what do you know he shaved it down. If everyone followed the exact same mind set then every games model would look the same. The neck is shorter than the other model. The only reason its neck more apparent is because the character model doesn't hair. As for the polycount, doesn't matter because it ultimately will depend on a number of factors i.e programming or they could literally just go down in quality, now bones on the other hand I would start worrying if he said that a single model has 500+ bones and even more vertexes. And the only reason I even know this small portion is because I ask modders questions on Nexus Mods whenever something goes wrong on my end with their mod. And lastly, this part "I don't see this going much further" DON'T **** ON PASSION PROJECTS THAT DON'T COST YOU ANY OF YOUR OWN TIME. Now does this mean I'm mad at you no, but it does mean I'm disappointed in you because of all your time on the internet you should know how to word things properly. You're an artist you should know how hard it is to get things to look just right not to yourself but your audience.
