i play on a laptop, and for whatever reason, it doesnt let me jump diagonally in some directions. i can jump down and left, and up and right, but cant jump up and left, and down and right. anyone know how to fix this?
This has been a thing for years. Thats just how RF controls are lmao. I can't jump in those directions either. But I've heard that certain keyboards can jump in those directions but idk
I used to have that problem with older keyboards. Once I bought a different keyboard, I could jump in any direction. Try finding keyboards that don't have ghosting problems, or try to find one that let's you input tons of of keystrokes.
I had this problem for years, and my way of solving this is: changing my arrow keys as: k - left ; - right l - down o - up this configuration is also nice, because it allows the right hand to comfortably reach the space bar when I change my controls to the non-arrow keys, I'm able to diagonally move again
Your problem is known as "ghosting". It means that some keys cannot be simultaneously pressed together. If you cannot buy a new keyboard with "anti-ghosting", please try @Shana 's solution. You can check which keys can be simultaneously pressed by using this website.
In my opinion best way to "fix" it (if you were using arrows as movement keys is to change them to numeric 1235 keys (I'm using that and tbh kinda started to using it in every game that I can )
Just had to change Mine i used the Numbers as my keys but even that did nothing,so now im using IJKL Lml ,it works perfectly
