So TWIL we can't have flashy, fantasy/anime based or inspired scrolls in this game because it's not a real fighting style, it's too op because of a reset, has many ways of doing cool combos instead of the same thing again and again and it's not old gen like Zin Taekwondo which has a reset that is apparently ok to leave untouched.

Yeah let's get more Aikido's, Krav Magas and Shoot Boxings. Might as well get more wrestling scrolls, Muay Thai scrolls and Tai Chi with weapons in the scroll to use. You know, **** it. Let's turn Rumble Fighter into an old kung fu classic that nobody relevant gives a flying rats ass about nowadays in our generation. BRING ON THE MMA! WE NEED MORE MMA SCROLLS!

Let's remove exocores and replace them with guns and swords because it's more realistic! Speaking of which, why do we have juggles? There's no juggles in real life, let's remove the ability to juggle people. While we're at it, let's make it a generic beat em up from the 2000's with all kung fu fighting scrolls and mma that way it stands out to the new consumers who even consider playing this garbage ass dying game. Who cares about relevance in this day and age?! We need more realism in a ******* video game.

Flashy effects aside, you honestly think we need more scrolls like Mystic Arts?

    It has:
    • a kG slide dodge that you can get back into a neutral state by pressing one button
    • a kG alternate launcher that is completely safe on block due to the large hitstun.
    • An extremely easy to do wall infinite juggle.
    • Over 3 advanced nanmu selections.
    • A nanmu that can lead into the start of a juggle by ending the nanmu at the ground-hit pop up. (Which can then lead to an infinite juggle if you happen to be facing a wall)
    • A ground hit that can be used to extend the combo of a normal juggle TWICE and then continue the juggle from there. All in one juggle.
    • A ppk combo that is safe on block and can angle on both sides 100%.

But yeah we need more scrolls like that. It's completely auto-pilot. Having more scrolls like this doesn't "open new doors" it just further unbalances the game.

Mystic Arts is very auto pilot/easy to use but is very limited in pressure, lacks hitconfirm and will be shut down by someone who knows its flaws. Also almost all of its attacks are counterable mid combo including its 2nd kick (very crippling)

the only new thing mystic arts added to the table besides it's green flashy effects is the 1 second power up on its kg. everything else has been done before. honestly it's just your usual new autopilot scroll. And Im not a fan of wanting scrolls to be basically exocores either.

How much damage does mystic arts do with the alternate preliminary-2-juggle-hits in mind?

mystics pressure isnt even really that bad cuz like u said, a lot of that scroll's **** can be easily countered, like the last hit of the launcher

I don't have the scroll, but im guessing around 100 extra damage since the base damage is cut in half

It's not even just adapting to pressure that's the issue. It's the fact that it even has all these assets to begin with.

So being able to nanmu someone, juggle them by stopping your nanmu in the middle of the barrage, extending your juggle combo twice, and then infinite juggling someone doesn't seem broken to you?

    You're speaking hypothetical
Don't you need a wall for the infinite reset? If so, that is very temperamental and limited; the opponent can just avoid walls since the scroll doesn't have good angling or hitconfirm on its launcher regardless. Zin tkd can technically reset its opponent to death but you don't see anyone doing that, closest were people like Cero or Ziggy who still couldn't do game breaking damage.
Kingpin is able to basically kill your opponent within 1 advance nanmu and can also stop in the middle of its nanmu to start a new combo.
Scroll doesn't seem much to me has bad stun and bad range. I place the scroll at A tier just because of omni grab status+speed

How much iFrames does the dodge have? And what are the properties of the first and second kick that lead to the juggle?

It's easy to do and it's infinite. It's as easy as Hawkhunter's when it was prominent and overused by everyone. Skip to 3:20
