NOTICE [Updated: 8/11/2026] Advance Notice of Boss Mode Chest Resell Rate Modification

Hello Fighters,

Please be advised that we intend to modify the resell prices of all Boss Mode Chests during August's second scheduled maintenance, tentatively scheduled for August 18, 2026.

Previously, this change was intended to be implemented during July's second scheduled maintenance. However, the developer had concerns regarding potential hacking and abuse and ultimately decided not to implement the change at that time. After further discussion with the developer, we have determined that our improvements in hacking detection and our ability to take swifter action against abuse have sufficiently reduced these concerns. As a result, we will be moving forward with the change as previously intended.

However, I wanted to inform you that the implementation may differ from what was communicated previously, so allow me to explain.

While the change was being delayed, I found myself asking whether simply reverting the resell prices to their original values would be enough to satisfy players, especially in today's environment. After taking into consideration the time and effort required to clear the various Boss Mode stages, I came to the conclusion that while reverting the resell prices to their original values would certainly be appreciated, there is an imbalance between the original resell rates and the effort required for some stages.

Therefore, it has been proposed that the resell prices instead differ depending on the effort and difficulty of each Boss Mode stage. The developer will ultimately decide which implementation route to take.

Since there are currently two possible scenarios for how this change may be implemented, I wanted to provide this advance notice so that players can be aware of the potential changes ahead of time.

Please note that Scenario 2 represents a proposed adjustment and is not yet finalized until after the scheduled maintenance. The final implementation will be determined by the developer.

Please remember that, as announced, RedFox has implemented significantly stricter enforcement policies beginning in 2026. Players are expected to use the Boss Mode system as intended. Any hacking or abuse following this implementation will result in a permanent account ban.
