Sunday Showdown Event

Basic Information:

• This event replaces the Fisticuffs event and is meant to be more streamlined, with a focus on improving the rewards to all players that participate into the event.
  • Please Note: This event will only be held as a trial test and may not be permanently added later on.
• Room Masters will be able to select whether they wish to make use of the event ban list.
• Top 3 of each room are determined from the final scoreboard.
• Top 3 winners will be determined based on number of wins during the day of the event.
• To prevent intentional disconnection abuse, participation reward will be only given to eligible participants that play for the entirety of the match.
• Moderators may decide to participate to make it more difficult for skilled players.
• Before prize distribution, we will utilize certain ways to detect for signs of fraud.
• "Make Your Own Fisticuffs" program & raffle rewards will no longer be active and retired.

• Participation Rewards:

• Instead of the participation reward, the Top 3 players (throughout the event) will receive the following rewards:
  • 1,000 RedFox Credits

How do I participate?

• If you are creating a room: make sure your room has the word "Sunday Showdown" in the title.
• If you are joining a room, make sure to join a room that the word "Sunday Showdown" somewhere in the title.
  • If a room notes any correlation towards the Sunday Showdown event, such as (Spectacular Sunday Showdown), it will still be an eligible room title. If you are unsure about the eligibility of a room's title, please make your concern through one of our moderators.
• Applicable game modes are eligible for this event:
  • Regular Battle Mode
  • Moving Screen (Rumble Mode)
• Make sure to "first load" so that games are faster. The faster the game, the more players can participate.
• The moderator will only join rooms that have 7/8 players in the room, unless it is their final room of the event period or the number of rooms available is less than 2.

Rules:

• You may only win once per event, under one RedFox Games ID.
• If a moderator places Top 3 in the final scoreboard situation, the moderator shall reward the player that places below the moderator.
  • For example, if [CM]Fang places 3rd, then the ranking count will be given to the player that is in 4th place.
• Should there be any rare occurrences where more than half of the room disconnects, the moderator will not award any rewards and move onto the next room.
• Should the moderator disconnect from the game in the middle of the match, the original Room Master at the time of starting when the moderator joined will have two options for resolution when the moderator returns to the room:
  • Option 1 - Play the room as normally, and the Room Master will report to the moderator on the winners of the game. If there is no disagreement, the winners reported will be asked for their prize options and the moderator will move on to the next room.
  • Option 2 - A re-do of the match will be initiated, utilizing the same rulings & game mode as previously set. If there is visible disagreement from Option 1, this will be the form of resolution.
• Top 3 winners will be selected based on number of times a player is ranked onto the final scoreboard.
  • Final Scoreboard Winners - Resurrection and revives are not allowed, RMs can determine if rare skill items & increased stats are allowed or not.
  • For instance, if:
    • [CM]Fang places 1st Place in his first game with a moderator, and happens to place 3rd Place in another room, they will have a total of 2 wins on that day.
    • Example:
      [GM]Kyubi - 3 wins
      [CA]Sou - 3 wins
      [CM]Fang - 2 wins
      [CA]Ztar - 2 wins
      [CA]Embers - 2 wins
      [CA]MrBurns - 2 wins
      [GM]Foxtrot - 1 win
      
      Then the Top 3 winners for the event will be [GM]Kyubi, [CA]Sou & [CM]Fang.
      - In the event that the more than 3 players have the same number of wins, the winners will be randomly picked out.
      - Winners will also be publicly announced after each event.
• The "Utilize Ban List" rule means players cannot use the following skill items & stats:
  • All skill items listed in the "Scroll/ExoCore Banlist" below.
  • Stat restrictions will also be applied
  • This rule will be an ALL-OR-NOTHING situation in that the Room Master can decide whether:
    • a) Utilize the ban list, meaning all skill items & stat restrictions will be applied.
    • b) Not utilize the ban list, and no skill item & stat restrictions will be applied.
    • The event moderator will not READY until:
      • a) All players are in the READY state.
      • b) After checking for restricted skill items & stat limitation eligibility of each player, if the ban list is utilized.
      • The event moderator can request a player to be removed from the room for failure to comply to the restriction application.
      • The room master CANNOT remove any player from the room without explicit permission from the moderator, or the moderator will exit and join a new room.
    • If a player is found using restricted skill items in-game, any event rewards earned are forfeited and corrective action will be applied against the player as described below.
  • If you have any other skill items that you would like to suggest to be prohibited from use, please let a moderator know.
• You may not give your reward to someone else and prizes cannot be transferred to a different player.
• In-game name changes may result in prize loss, so it is best to reach out as soon as possible if you expect a change to your in-game name.
• You may not change your prize selection after the event period concludes for the day.
  
• No hacking is allowed.
• MAY THE ODDS BE IN YOUR FAVOR!

Fraud:

• Using multiple accounts to win or play Sunday Showdown.
• Using multiple accounts to increase your chances in the event in any specific room.
• Winning more than once per event period (more than 1 win per account).
• If you are caught with fraud, your prizes will be stripped from all of your accounts.

Punishments:
If you are caught with fraud, failing to comply with moderator's requests or are disrupting the event, the ban criteria will be as follows:

• Fraud: Using alternate accounts, multiple accounts in room to AFK
  • 1st Offense: Prize Revocation & 60 Day Account Ban to all accounts used
  • 2nd Offense: Prize Revocation & 90 Day Account Ban to all accounts used
  • 3rd Offense: Prize Revocation & Permanent Account Ban to all accounts used
• Compliance: Failing to listen to moderator & disrespectful behavior/language
  • 1st Offense: Prize/Raffle Draw Removal & 3 Day Ban
  • Subsequent Offenses: Prize/Raffle Draw Removal & Ban Duration Increased
• Abuse: Disrupting the event in any shape, way or form (Example: Spam Joining Rooms)
  • 1st Offense: 90 Day Account Ban to all accounts used
  • 2nd Offense: Permanent Account Ban

Note: RedFox Games reserves the right to raise any abuse related punishments to the maximum level (permanent ban) depending on the type of disruption found.

Prize Distribution:

• During scheduled bi-weekly maintenance
