Hello all. It has been a while since my last submission about my animation projects. Since then I have worked on a rather work inducing project that can be found here: https://www.reddit.com/r/blender/comments/6xaa1v/practicing_animation_in_blender_everyday_for_a/ After which I began to put my focus on a scroll that really had my praise and always would have loved to see it in game. It is known none other than Black Widow. A fantastic design of a scroll created by ColdBloodedKing. The animations of this scroll were designed without his consent due to the unknown whereabouts of his being at this time so if there are any errors I do apologize. If you are seeing this CBK, I hope all is to your liking. For those interested, the complete design of the scroll can be found here: http://forum.gamescampus.com/viewtopic.php?f=986&t=147338&sid=e6df7d8f49edf02f606741c52605a065 Without further delay here is what I have to offer. (Model provided by @TheDL6Incident Thank you much for your help.) Stance Side Front 3Q Block Side Front Loop Punch combo(P K P) Side Front Kick Combo(K K K K) Side Front That is all. I had plans to do much more- at least the fence edger combo but I have some big things coming this month of October that I had to leave the progress here as it stands. If demand is high I'll consider finishing this scroll when I have the time again. Thank you all for your time in seeing what I have to offer among this topic. I will be busy this month but if anyone has any requests for any scrolls they would like me to try I may take a look into it. Feel free to mention it otherwise. Thanks again to everyone for your interest and time. Till the next one. Edit1: Make source for model more evident Edit2: Some rewording.
I suppose I should have made it a bit more evident on that department. It is mentioned in the thread but I will make it more noticeable. To answer your question the model was provided by @TheDL6Incident . He was a lot of help, otherwise I would have been using a basic model despite the deforms this one goes through.
Yo, did you do this in Blender? If you did, I know a way to make blender give the models that "cartoon shader" outline.
Yup done in Blender. If you are referring to final render I chose to not use it in favor of the basic textures. Otherwise I'd love to see it later today.
I like it. I like it a lot. Go apply for Nimonix as a lead animator, since it seems they can't make new animations anymore.
Haha thanks much. A bit of a stretch but it would be something if that would happen. That means a lot thanks. Hopefully he gets it.
I mean, have you seen how uninteresting, goofy, and badly looped some of the newer stance animations are? You could easily make it as an animator for a small-time company such as Nimonix.
this is great work not sure if it's too late to make a Heartseeker prototype (not sure if being developed already), but I'd love to see one done by you here's the link to it http://forums.playredfox.com/index.php?threads/sacred-scroll-heartseeker.5452/
The most recent scroll's stance does feel as if it was done within a day- not to belittle their efforts though. Even so I feel I have a lot more to learn. An opportunity such as that would be flattering though unlikely. Thanks much. The kicks look like a lot of fun to animate. I may give it a go when I have the time again. If I do take it up I'll message you as soon as I start work on it. Thanks for your interest.
I knew the stance would look good on both genders and people kept telling me it wouldn't.Thank you for doing this it was awesome to be surprised by.You actually posted the day before my birthday on the 5th to so its a nice coinsidence to find thank you very much for making the animations in the RF character model I hope you continue to do this and maybe make your own scroll or exo like this.
CBK? It's a pleasure! I wasn't aware of you redoing the scroll here on the RedFox forums. I don't frequent here that much so that's a mistake on my part. I'm glad things are to your liking, it was a lot of fun doing this. Once I'm free again I'd be happy to finish this up to an extent if you're interested. If so I'll message you as soon as I start work on it.
