Reset the Game Resolution Manually You may try resetting the game’s resolution setting manually through the Windows Registry. Please follow these steps carefully: Press Windows Key + R on your keyboard. Type regedit and press Enter. Go to the following path: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Nimonix\RumbleFighter Inside the RumbleFighter folder, look for the following values: Resolution ScreenRes Change both Resolution and ScreenRes values to 1. Setting both of these values to 1 should allow the game to start in 1024x768 resolution. After making the changes, please launch the game again and check whether the issue has been resolved. 2. Launch the Game in Windowed Mode This issue may also be related to compatibility with an integrated graphics card. As an additional step, please try changing the following value: Windowed Change Windowed to 1. This should force the game to launch in windowed mode. After changing the value, please launch the game again and let us know if the issue continues. Important Note Please make sure to only change the values mentioned above. It is also worth nothing that You should change these values only after you've exited the rumble fighter client. If you make these changes in regedit, then you exit rumble fighter by clicking "Exit" button -> "yes", it will overwrite the values you've written onto regedit
That’s dumb man now I’m forced to only be able to play in windowed mode tried everything to just play rf on full res but everything I tried after windowed 1 just leads me to dc they made a problem that was never existed a couple month ago permanent now smh
Could you please try launching the game client again, then go to the in-game Options menu and uncheck Window Mode? After doing that, please let us know what happens when you try to apply the setting and restart the game.
So the issue is, you want to play the game in full screen mode, but when you uncheck the window mode and press apply in game, your client freezes? Have you tried unchecking this button and pressing apply after relogging? The alternative way to force your game into full screen mode is following "2. Launch the Game in Windowed Mode" of the original post, but making the value 0 instead of 1 ----------------- Beware that making it full screen may cause some issues. I just tried launching the game in full screen now, and seems like my mouse isnt where it shows and you're not able to click anything, causing me to get stuck. I would recommend playing in windows mode for now. Seems like others have had this "mouse not showing where its actual placement is" issue as well when playing in full screen mode
I believe if you enter an invalid value for one of the entries in regedit, the next time you login, it just changes back to the default value
That’s strange, maybe 9 is invalid then? I tried it yesterday and it seemed to work, although maybe it reverted to 1 the entire time. I was going based on the thread from starbery in 2018 (it was the first one I saw on Google at the time) but that might’ve been outdated
Yeah i think putting 9 reverting to 1 is expected behavior. I tried that before too and it also reverted to 1
