Notice Regarding Macro, Third-Party Program Usage, and Bug Exploit Penalties

If you were playing normally, it would be unlikely for us to receive video reports from other players and also find abnormal activity recorded in the logs at the same time.

Based on both the player reports and our log analysis, we determined that abnormal gameplay activity occurred.

 

I'm curious to see you in pvp when you fight with others with Macro and who are also in los, abuse shadow and you wake up with him next to you, let me see you then if you like. If you cheat you deserve to be banned, because there are also honest people and it's not good for them

There is no reason for us to ban players who are playing fairly. Our goal is simply to do our best to maintain a fair gaming environment for everyone.

If you are the player I have in mind, your account was banned because, based on the video report and AI-assisted log review, we found that your character was moving at identical time intervals and repeating the same movement patterns.

Could you please explain why you believe this decision was unfair or an “abusive monopoly”?

Between the strong opinions from players who want us to block all macro users and those from players who say we should not, which side do you think is right?

Wouldn’t it be fair and proper for us to operate the game according to the Terms of Use?

GM, I have some questions.

1- I have a gaming keyboard with native macro configuration software.
If I use it, will I be penalized with a ban?
2- If I use it as support for (K) Automatic Training, will I also be penalized with a ban?
3- Why, if I pay for the PREMIUM plan that provides the AUTOMATIC TRAINING (K) function, do I not receive any penalty?
4- And finally, when referring to "Macros, AUTO-CLIQUERS, MACRO SKILL BUGS" that make the character immortal in PVPs, what level of priority do you give them? Because I have a ticket from a player using an Auto-Clicker that has never been analyzed by the GMs, they never gave a response.

 

We do not make decisions based on what software a player uses.

Our actions are based on log analysis and player reports.

The reason we did not perform this type of analysis before was because it was too complex and time-consuming. Now, with the help of AI, we can process large amounts of logs at once, identify abnormal patterns, and take action against unfair gameplay.

GM the game is already abnormal like skills, effects, etc . .back to 2015 until now 9D still full of bugs and RF staff struggle to fix it and players initiate bug without knowing it. .why you ban and blame players instead of fixing bugs. ? .bring back those players who make the server more fun. .

 

i want my acct bacK GM!!! i did NOTHING wrong!!! all i did was log in and kill mobs(20) get coin to completed daily for 10th anniversary relic like everyone else.. and next thiing i know my acct was banned my acct is clean since the transfer from GC(gamecampus) and i play once a while whenever i can. i love 9dragon but this is totally BS!! I been playing 9d for very long time since acclaimed- gamerfirst-GC untill now.. spend so much time and recently bought Majestics new deco give me my acct back GM!

Based on what you said and didn't say, the analyses remain flawed, potentially banning players who use Automatic Training (K) (which in my view is a form of "PAID" CHEATING).
And players who use other methods may continue to go unpunished.
Another point you didn't clarify is the effectiveness of the AI method combined with character log records. And AI can be even more flawed than human analysis.
This should be banned via ANTI-CHEAT, which identifies physical alterations in the files of the 9dragons installation folder...

Anyway, good luck winning some lawsuits...

 

GM, players feel unsafe when they play this game, thats why many players have left. Kunlun is like a desert even in weekend. we enjoy the game, not to be worried about when will we be banned, tomorrow? next week? the game with bugs, you should fix the bugs, do not leave them there for years then you ban players that unintentionally violate. I advocate to permanent ban who used 3rd software to intervene the game after all.

Please note that we do not issue bans based solely on log analysis. We only review players who have been reported with video evidence, and bans are applied only when our investigation confirms the use of macro programs.

Therefore, we do not understand why players feel unsafe or concerned. The number of active players has not decreased and remains nearly the same as before.

Furthermore, we have already promised that players who come forward will not be investigated for any past actions. For these reasons, we find it difficult to understand why there is still concern.

 

U use the metric of active players or accounts?!
Cause if u use accounts playing u can probably cut that in half. Thanks to the possibility that u can use 2 clients on 1 pc, thus 2 accounts for 1 player. So if 500 people might be playing it might be actually 250, if not less since some ppl even have 3 or 4 accounts ..

I completely agree with the GM. It's great to see that the GM team has been very active lately.

Good news for you all: in my country, private servers have been banned and are considered illegal. I think this will bring a number of new players to our server in the near future.

backpacking on Raonec questions. Is it ok for us to use Keyboard Macros? I too have a Orbweaver v2 and a lot of Razer and Logitech hardware. Is the stance that anything outside of Auto K is strictly prohibited? If that is the case. Auto K needs a serious uplift. It is not sufficient for our use cases or the money. If Keybinds are allowed what is the approved rate or solutions? The realization is the game population is decreasing. The bans on cheating are fantastic! However, there is a decent amount of uplift that should be put forward to ensure that the community is getting a sufficient amount of support. This is just my opinion. We would really love to help make the game better. I am speaking for people outside of the complaining and blaming RedFox due to issues that is outside of your control. This game needs serious support if it wants to last vs games like Where Winds Meet, Wizards 101, Star Trek Online, Phantasy Star 2 Online, PoE and Many more titles that are offering so much.

 

GM the video evidence you see is the bug of the game occur that a player not intended to use. .its like a person planted a drug and get arrested. .its not the player's fault, its the game have many bugs that until now didn't fix. .I've been a player over a decade with non stop playing 9D and 9D fix bug not a week not a month but within a year to fix it. .Everytime we ticket about bugs 9D staff ignore it and so so many tickets unanswered. I send also graphics effects bug but RF ignore it. .Unbanned those players and start fixing bugs

Will this method result in a BAN, GM?
Because if it results in a ban, the entire server will have to be banned.
Because it's the only way for players with weaker Gears to get enough money to maybe buy a BSS, and that requires many hours and PREMIUM activated to compensate.
Since the American Server Owner turns a blind eye and has a level of intimacy with some EndGame players with some "FACILITIES" as happens in Discord groups, or Whatsapp and communities outside the Official RFG Forum.
I don't think this AI, given the slow analysis speed of Support, will generate CORRECT results.

For example, if I open a ticket to exchange a Female item for a Male one, it can't be processed...
Because Server YIN is devoid of players and nobody has that item to trade or sell.
But the guy on the TAO Server who has "friendship" with the Owner/GM/Support/etc... whatever it is, can easily get that exchange done, just by asking privately.
