im getting rumble fighter does not have a right to write error. i uninstalled and it still says the same thing. I turned off firewall and it still doesnt work. even running it as administrator makes no difference. HELP!

ok it still doesnt work.

 

So i tried to relog since the GPA event was handed out and i keep on getting this error saying that the game has a file thats not supposed to be in it and to end that file. Ive tried redownloading the game and it still shows nothing. Is this for anyone else??

 

If windows is asking you to end the file, then maybe rumblefighter.exe is still open in the background.

Open task manager and end the file there. You can right-click on your taskbar and click on "start task manager" or press ctrl+alt+del and it will give an option to open task manager.

 

Do you have an anti-virus program with real-time protection that's blocking rumblefighter.exe?

Also make sure you have enough memory left in your hard drive. You can use windows disk cleanup to try to get more space if you need.

 

thats a bit too late considering i just uninstalled and im installing again rn

windows defender is detecting a dangerous file in rf. so i turn it off. but rf still wont work. it still says does not have a right to write.

RF itself has become so toxic that it's now a virus.

 

It's probably a false positive. You can add an exception or disable the real-time protection if it's blocking rumblefighter.

 

Both Redfox and Steam version still giving that error and says it contains a virus. "Trojan:Script/Cloxer.A!cl" error

What you can do is check up on that one file that your anti-virus is blocking. You can upload it and have this website check on whether it is genuine or not. https://www.virustotal.com/

If it's safe, you can add an exception and allow rumble fighter to update. It's possible the nProtect gameguard is giving a false positive.

 

sell it cuz we dont deserve to play rumble fighter anymore.
