new player - what server to pick

New player here, what are the differences of servers? which one has more players? Is there a way to see player count?

 

yin - pvp server - lower population
tao - more pve oriented but still pvp - better population.

On the game title screen if you click the server button it brings up the server list and shows a bar with how many ppl are online in regards to server capacity

 

What are the maps you can pvp on Tao ?

 

Kunlun, bloody plain and loulan. Nobody uses Loulan or Bloody plain anymore tho
