CDN Provider Change – Launcher Update Notice
We have switched our CDN provider, and some players may experience issues when launching the game.

If you are having trouble running the launcher, please try the following steps:

1. Download the New Launcher
Download the new launcher and overwrite your existing launcher file, then try launching the game again.

New Launcher:

Due to time constraints, we have not yet applied a digital signature to the launcher. This may cause your browser to block the download, as shown in steps 1 and 2, or Windows to display a warning when you run the launcher, as shown in steps 6 and 7. If you downloaded the launcher from the official RedFox website, please follow these steps to continue the download and run the launcher.

Please also run the launcher as administrator by right-clicking it and selecting Run as administrator.

2. Reinstall the Latest Full Client
If the issue still persists, please completely uninstall your current game client, then download and install the latest full client.

3. DirectX 9 Runtime Error
If you receive a system error when launching the game stating that d3dx9_43.dll is missing, this may occur because the required DirectX 9 runtime components are not installed on your PC.

Please download and install the DirectX End-User Runtime from the official Microsoft website below:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35

After installation, please restart your PC and launch the game again.

Important: Please do not download the d3dx9_43.dll file separately from third-party websites. We recommend installing the official DirectX runtime provided by Microsoft.

cant run game

After update I cannot start game anymore. I also reinstall the game but still the same error.

 

Did you copy & paste the new launcher in the Redfox 9dragons folder? You need to extract the new launcher into desktop new folder then copy and paste it into the Redox 9dragons folder, replace it & override it. After that launch it & update will start.

 

override launcher doesn't work. reinstall new client as well. inti virus and window defender block.

 

I got problem like that, copy new laucher or reinstall new client don't work.

 

Now working. disable anti virus not work then uninstall antivirus, reinstall new client. uninstall antivirus or not play this game?? bcus wanna play this game. so for a moment uninstall antivirus.

 

I'm getting this error:



I tried replacing the Launcher, startup error. I reinstalled the game, same issue. I restarted my PC, still the same.
Also tried around with compatibility mode and starting as admin... Same thing.

Not sure how much of a point there is in contacting a support that is pretty much unpresent... but I did do that anyway.

Hope these "transition" issues don't persist too long... I'd like to get back into the game.

 

Confirmed the error only happen on windows 11, the windows 10 is fine.

 

I sure hope we're getting a fix for this today. Nothing here is working for me.

 

Been trying all the information for the problem and nothing works most idiotic thing ever why fix something that there wasnt a problem with in the first place , so come on RedFox fix this problem as not all players are computer whizz kids

This advice was provided earlier, and didn't help me one bit. This isn't the problem.

 

I work extremely long & very physical work, so I already have issues with non-farming events and these dungeons etc that one-shot me ... the furthest thing from relaxing.

Now I am told to solve a new puzzle !

Not in the mood, thus I'll enjoy my rapini, anchovy, salted pork & white bean pizza----yes, home made---and wait for somebody to post a real fix.

 

GM could you please check it on Windows 11?

 

I've followed all the steps, but I still can't get into the game. T_T

 

Support luckily answered my ticket.

Apparently, even though my error message wasn't about any missing DirectX DLLs, and I was able to run this game just fine before, installing DirectX 9 actually fixed it...

I won't look a gift horse in the mouth. I'm just glad it works again.

 

This is so frustrating , i have tried all the instructions as to what to do and still nothing works but apart from an notification stating that i cant create an Launcher because of an missing fmod.dll file so now im ata total loss any help with this would be great thx
