Questions: What happen to Guilds? Why are there so few events? Why are there no tourneys recently? Why is the Population so low? Why is the Community so toxic? All these questions and more are answered in this video.
The game is dead because there are no new players. You can't expect most people to play a non-changing game for 17 years in a row. This is the new player experience: 1. You join a game. 2. There's 5 rooms open. 3. You get kicked out immediately if people in the room do not recognize you. If you end up getting into a room: 1. You will **** since you are playing against people who have played since "08". 2. Even if you are skilled, it is the norm for players to equip insane amount of stats which make it nearly impossible.
Thank you for bringing this up and I apologize that you had to go through such a negative new player experience. You are absolutely right that the new player experience is terrible, and the reason for this is because there exists some toxic individuals that goes out of their way to make the Rumble Fighter experience terrible for others. They go around thinking its okay to do those things you've mentioned to new players. They also think its acceptable to go into an existing room of 7/8, win the game, then starts discriminating people (be it their region, their playstyle, their race, their gender, etc) and kicks those bystanders, even if its for a simple reason as "you did nothing wrong but I just dont like you". The behavior of these toxic individuals are absolutely unacceptable and as a result, us players have to suffer the negative experience brought to many of us, including new players. They kick people for their own selfish reasons, and with no mind for others, and discriminating against anyone that doesn't align with their playstyle or is a threat to them. That's why I've created the Rumble Fighter Academy - a non toxic, inclusive and supportive community aimed to help players grow and provide the support they need. Furthermore, instead of players backstabbing each other, we foster an environment to build deeper connections with players outside of the game and thus creating a better experience to all. If you want to join us in the vision, come join us here : https://discord.gg/3VyUJGzqUa We are also currently hosting a 300 RC Giveaway event that ends soon!
Short answer; unpaid crew did/does more for the game. Now it's a nostalgia ridden husk of what we use to know. Fortunately, still open to visit as a museum for a part of my childhood
The game might be old, but the passion is still here. Seeing players come together and try to keep the community alive gives me hope.
Yes - I agree! And that's exactly why the Rumble Fighter Academy was created. We tolerate absolutely no toxicity (be it harassment, or discrimination of any kind) and aim to help new/returning players ease in back to the game, answering their every question with 24/7 support. We have several academy members with excellent expertise in Rumble fighter, and we’re proud to have such knowledgeable and supportive players in our community. Join us at https://discord.gg/3VyUJGzqUa ! We are also aware of the lack of events from the game, so we are combating this by hosting many events - both RC and Carats! In the last ~3 weeks, we've hosted several Misswind & RFAcademy SHOWDOWN events and that alone totaled to 7,000 RC given! See the Player Events sub thread - https://forums.playredfox.com/index.php?forums/player-events.67/ Not to mention the Worlds Championship 2025 Tournament event thats about to start next week with a big 18,000 RC prize pool. (Signups are currently ongoing until Saturday, November 22nd, 2025 11:59pm EST) See https://forums.playredfox.com/index...ip-tournament-signups-now-until-nov-22.59310/
Anyone who don't have time to watch a video but wanna read summarizes in less minutes than the video. The key points: Guilds and Tournaments: Guilds have been permanently disabled due to hacker exploits, meaning no more guild related tournaments like Rumble Royale. While Red Fox has hosted 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 tournaments, issues like EOS attacks and lag have hampered fair play. Low Population: The game's population has significantly decreased due to two major company transfers from OGPlanet to Games Campus, then to RedFox Games. Players lose accounts during these transfers if they did not check forums or websites, leading to sharp declines in actives players. Toxic Community: The community remains toxic, with a kick culture where players are removed for various reasons, including using certain items, being from different regions like NA vs EU or old guild war rules if you know, or even for simply winning. Harassment, false rumors, and manipulation of room masters are also prevalent. Lag Issues: Lag has worsened due to merged North American and European servers, resulting in worldwide players on the same server. The game's peer to peer connection system means lag cannot be eliminated unless the game is rebuilt from scratch with a client to server connection. Content Updates: Despite being acquired by Red Fox Games about 9 years ago, the game has seen few game changing content updates. New scrolls, exocores, and fashion items have been introduced, but a trade system, promised for years, will likely never be implemented as it reduces profit. The game's old code base make complex new features difficult to implement without breaking existing ones, as seen with new scrolls causing crashes. Boxes often recolored versions of previous years' items, continue to be released, with declining permanent item drop rates. Events: The number of events has drastically decreased expecially after covid 19. Before covid19, there were typically 80 to 90 events and around 10 spenders annually, but post covid, these numbers dropped to about 29 events and 4 to 5 spenders with some months having no events at all. Events like spenders are often unannounced, leading to player dissatisfaction. Pay to Win and Balancing: The game has become more pay to win, with significant power creep in newly released scrolls and exocores some capable of one shooting opponents. While there was rebalance of older scrolls, newer ones remain largely unbalanced. Stats for new rare clothes have also increased, making characters more powerful. Bug and Glitches: Long standing glitches like matrix jump, low jump, panic break, and random crashes persist. These are described as byproducts of the game's core mechanics and are unlikely to be fixed without a complete rebuild of the game. Community and Resources: A significant problems is the lack of a central community for players to connect and seek help. The official forum are dead, and the official Discord is overly restrictive. Guilds are scattered online or gatekept, and many YouTube showcase videos for newer content are over 10 years old. The creator established the Rumble Fighter Academy Discord as a non toxic, inclusive community to address these issues. Conclusion: While there are definitely better games out there due to lack of content, few events, pay to win elements, and lag, Rumble Fighter might still appeal to those looking for a unique 8 player brawl experience with diverse fighting styles inspired by real martial artists.
yo, i used to love this game. now i just play tekken 8 LMFAO p.s. wsg @HumoLoco you my boy forever man, happy thanksgiving
I lowkey miss what it used to be. Surprised a nigh 2 million sub youtuber mentioned playing it in his childhood from your video lol. I guess there are successful peeps outside of this cesspool of a game.

RF sucks cause -Insanely OP scrolls, or even good scrolls need payment -Good carat scrolls require lots of grinding to get the money for -Crazy ass stat items and scrolls are in boxed items or cost RC What ends up happening is any new player joining gets killed in like 3 combos by some dude with 70+ STR or gets edged off by some scroll like Muhon RE that has an absurd attack. Or get spammed to death by insane unblockable Exocore attacks by someone with pretty much endless SP. By monetizing power you basically make a small sect of money spending people extremely powerful and they just unleash that power on anyone new and make it unfun. Look at games like DOTA 2 or TF2. There is no (or practically none) P2W in either of those games, they've lasted YEARS with great playerbases, and they make Valve tons of money. So no, RF is not worth paying unless you're willing to spend hundreds of dollars to not get killed in 30 seconds by someone else.
I wouldn't mind seeing this game as a F2P console game, tbh. Might work but they'll have to definitely fix the games netcode, modernize some of the UI screens for today's UI standards, and so forth but that sounds like too much work for these devs if they haven't thought that far along after all these years. I'm just throwing some ideas out for free; I should get paid for this. <_<
Games dead cause leadership is just not smart, for instance to join the official rf discord, u need to allow a bot to access your profile??(even bigger games such a LoL,FORTNITE etc does not do something as weird as that). OTHER discord just have account sellers not getting banned. events r awful. no marketing(prob cus no money). no streamer events. only streamer is some weird country hood dude(weirdo). like this **** is genuinely cooked. all boxes in shop, just awful no updates to graphics ingame etc.
Came back today after playing in 2008-2013. Game died from companies being to greedy and not giving enough updates. Amazing game to say the less. at least the concept behind it is great. Would love to see the game be remade where everything is equal as in terms of stats. No STR boosts and whatever. Just simple gameplay mechanics to show who's the best on the map we're playing on. Game has so much potential to be a top 10 fighter F2P game. If they kept the microtransactions to specifically scrolls and stuff I feel like that would have been fine, but now you needa unlock gems and this and that just to have stats even somewhat comparable to others. Doesnt matter how good you are if youre getting killed in 2-3 combos haha
Welcome back to the game!! Yeah I agree on the p2w issue but if you happen to have an existing redox account before, if you log back in , you get free 15 gamble boxes to try and get some rares!
