Does and X3 on drop require human sacrifice? That is the only way we can explain the X2, only X2 on drops. X3 drop = human sacrifice and you ran out of volunteers.
x3 all the time would make this game too easy. Enjoy the game for what it is and grind. If you want stuff given to you for free, play a different game.

No, sugar. The X4 requires a holiday. I get doing X2 on the drop, but not so many times in a row. I had 4 old players coming back to the game and leaving due to drop rates. Please don;t give me advice on what I should care about. Also, I play what I feel like playing, not what others tell me to play.
"Been there, done that". Once they posted experience multiplier no matter how you beg for x3 or x4... x2 will be x2. There's nothing you can do guys stop wasting your time. Just piece of advice xD
