Have them test with 3 chars in hefei. Seems the worst of it is hefei chars. Really annoyed by it bcuz im using Steam as my login.
Ive noticed that if I move my 2 other chars to say Bamboo and and I need to relog to them, its not as bad, but I have to then move them back to Bamboo, before I log back to the char I'm using for the day. They really need to fix this, cuz using Steam, you have to shut the whole Steam Client down and relaunch the game again, instead of the RF Client just kicking you back to Login.
When you use Steam and you have the issue, this is what happenes. Like the RF launcher, you will get sent back to login/server choice screen on Steam and you can not reconnect to the sever, so you have to close the game out and relaunch the game using Steam. Id rather use Steam, but this issues stops me from even using Steam at all for 9D!
TBH, this had never happened to me until I returned like 4-6 weeks ago. Its very annoying. Moving my chars to different places other than Hefei, does prevent it (for me) from happening as often, but it still happens with RF launcher or Steam.
