Recently I’ve been feeling nostalgic about the game. Maybe I’d come back and check it out, once again? I quit right when the second part of Kunlun map was released (just to give you an idea where ky game knowledge is upto). just want to get an honest feedback if I should come back or not? I understand (correct me if I am wrong), the pay to win aspect is still there in the game? I am willing to spend some money but I hate gambling aspect of it though. I would rather buy something straight up for the money. That is my kind of transaction. So basically where should I start to go from level 0 to level cap (or as high as possible) in shortest amount of time, and how do I get there? And what are the items (relics, weapons, clothes etc) I will need in order to be basically a tough guy?
P2W is not correct description. Game became pure gamble. You can make HG fast or somebody can pwlvl you to HI in hour and then you are done. There is literally zero relics obtainable in game. All is from gambling boxes. All good relics are selling 100$+ So if you want to get some gear to be able at least play prepare 500-1000 $ investment. Then you will spend years with farming Kunlun boxes , CC or donating another money. Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. Hmm yeah the gambling aspect is what I used to hate the most… $1000 is quite lot, even for me. I would have been ok with around $500 max. Question: how far can I go with investing $500 or even $1000 for arguments sake? How long will the relics/clothes/weapons be good and not become irrelevant/obsolete? Best cheapest setup you can do hard dungeons and farm kl boxes/qd food/saphire Epi: Xmas 2024 epi Deco: 2024 Xmas deco full 28% crit dmg Clothes:Clan dungeon +15 clothes set full 28% crit dmg ornies Weapons: Clan/role melle reaper weapon full oysters ornies (every role), reaper bracers full geoduck ornies (hybrid,nuker) Bags:Elite Black Dragon+Orange Halloween or Sincere(wich one you can find cheaper) Rings: Blessed Set 13 Relics(IS 10+ yellow jade): Goku 10 normal Red snowflake Pumpkin Set Vermilion Necklace Longevity+kompass Golden Christmas Wreath Lucky silk lvl1 Unsealed Earring Set True jewel of life Buy relics clean and make them full 5% drop seals or buy them full 5% drop seals. Pets: 450% xp and Aomi With this setup you should be able to do everything in terms of pve and farm pretty good You should do RTD questline,grind kl until HI12,if you have most of the relic setup or strongest relics from wich i said you can go grind hainan at samurai loop near first tower or samurai loop after 3rd village(quest always darkest before the dawn done for 3 free scroll tp and must have hatuo panceas because hainan is pvp map and u get throw out if not and scroll cost 50kk/1) or qd right side bottom and midle(pvp map u can log in at inn village but you can get disrupted,still mostly clear weekdays) Good Luck & Hafe Fun

Only farmable content is current event is red snowflake,golden christmas wreath and reaper weapons(anytime,cost 4bss+20 mats from silver coins/wild tower dungeon boss), as for the rest you top up and buy bss wich you trade for items.If they show price in gold and you offer bss you calculate 1 BSS=1.2b gold. My build shouldn't surpass 250-300 bss or 250-300$ and it's good pve build but not pvp wich is another expensive story,sry didn't do the exact maths.If you can't find pumpkin set, 2 relics set around same value is extreme sun set or if you have enough coin you can replace longe+kompas with sun set.Also inquire price first before you buy Good Luck & Have Fun
this is my opinion as i see what the game has to offer right now. for 500$, you can have pvp build, not good but enough to 1 hit most players. as for pve build, well it would be a shame since you have pretty decent budget. assuming you reach IS10 and open relic slot with yellow jade (cheapest than all jade), that makes 13 slots open for relics. clothes: qd set +15/clan set +15 is better, around 35-45B. deco: winged deco weapon: glacial +18 / ID 2 +18 (cheaper) Belonging items: santa set, could as low as 35bss Pet/Guardian: black flame phoenix (cheap but good) relics: - marble 6 (2 relics) / marble 5 (2 relics) - soul reaper set lv 3 (2 relics) - magic god's lantern (1 relic) - red bead (1 relic) - vermilion set (3 relics) - frozen set 1 (3 relics) - golden christmas wreath (1 relic) alternatively, you can opt for lucky silk lv 1 relic for farming. for more cheap firepower, bluemoon flower relic also good. if you're looking for long-term relic, as general rule, go for relic with yybs damage and resist stat. then, if you have more budget, have comrade. i suggest not, since there's no point in having low lvl comrade for pvp. but for pve, having comrade is helpful enough to go hard clan dungeon, or blood iron 3 dungeon (this dungeon need a combo of good resist and high hp).
For pvp you really don't need that much investition for mostly endgame setup. You can even 1 shot or get 1 shoted even with budget build, just make nuker IS10+yellow jade for 13th slot.PVP now is like counter strike awp mostly Epi:=Golden Heavenly Mirror-Mirror(Loulan) Deco: 2024 Xmas deco Clothes:Kylin Hat+ Am+15 preferably ck dodge stats Weapon: Freezing kylin bracers& freezing kylin any melle weapon for grind Bags:Orange Halloween Rings(Bellongings):lantern/santa set Relics: Golden Christmas Wreath Soul Reaper 3 frozen set 1 Xmas radiant set Mailan set Orb lvl 1 Clothes and deco you use yin 250 dmg/400 rez and relic seals all 7% Yin dmg.You don't need to worry about stats because main hard dmg comes from yybs dmg(mostly 1 element).
I readed carefully all suggestions you got and i dont agree with most of it,but everyone have his opinion. With 500 dolars ,you can make a buil wich you can use for pvp / pve farming all dungeons + pve for drop. Just skip clothes-can use ancient moonlight set if ypu have a proper relics. Also skip winged deco-just buy xmas 2024 wich is 3b now! As a relics with 500 dolars you can got : Golden set belogings = 50 bss Golden wreath= 5 bss Blue moonflower= 30-35 bss Earth Gods lantern= 20 bss Shining bird wich is 150-160 bss( or red bead + santa bags for 140bss total) Reaper soul set lvl 3= 55-60 bss Frozen 2 set = 100 bss With this you will be able do do all dungeons + 1 shoot most of all players in game. No point to spend on a sets only giving drop - fokus on specific End game relics i listed.

BSS = Blue splendor stone and its found in item mall and its basically an ingredient used to craft endgame relics or gamble on event boxes to get OP items.
Reaching higher levels like HG or HI is quick, either through in-game mechanics or external power-leveling help. However, meaningful progress (e.g., acquiring gear or relics) becomes dependent on luck and financial investment.
