Events Suggestions List So we all know Redfox need events to keep the community occupied. Compiled a list of successful and popular ones from both Gamescampus and OGP. If there's anything I missed or you want a specific event brought back, just leave a comment below. Links to other suggestion threads are at the bottom of this post. Social Media Events Community Profile Events - Users can be chosen at random. Choose a player and ask a series of questions so the whole community gets to know them. The basic questions that were normally asked were the following: Who are you? Tell us a bit about yourself? What's your favorite experience so far at OGP? If you had the ability to implement one thing in the game what would it be? If you could be a GM for a day, what would you do? Anything you'd like to say to the Community? Any shout-outs you'd like to make? Questionnaires - These are relatively quick and easy questions that anyone can answer for a small prize. Free Stuff Friday - This event was always held on a Friday on Twitter/Facebook. Participate in a a weekly quiz and receive a prize. Caption Events - GMs post a screenshot and the community submits a caption. Best caption receives a random prize. Followers/Likes Events - Simply like the RF Facebook/Twitter page, and random users will be selected for a prize. Facebook Raffle Events - Simply share the RF page to be entered into a raffle for either a prize or credits. In Game Events Spender Events - Simple events that anyone can participate in whether they be carats or credits. Spend a certain amount of either currency and get bonus items. This also include King/Top Spender events. The top 10-20 players were given various rare prizes. Rumble Royale - One of the most highly anticipated events in Rumble Fighter. An action packed guild based tournament for a chance for players to represent their guilds and fight their way to the top. Rules can be determined by the community or staff. Prizes are generally either credits or rare items such as Tournament Hats or Gladiator Armor. Scroll Master Events - A series of tournaments made to determine who is the best user for said scroll. Prizes would be a custom title with a couple rare items. Boss Mode Speed Run Events - This can be in teams or individually. Just submit a recording of your fastest BM run and whoever won would receive a rare item. This is the perfect opportunity to bring boss mode flags. GM Escort Event - GMs would host a boss mode room where players will make an attempt to escort a GM to the finish line. GMs would not do any fighting. Prizes varied. GM Throwdown Events - Easy one round events where the whole community can participate. Participation prizes were usually given out and a special random prize was given to the user who came in first place. Ladder Point Events - This type of event was usually held on the weekends. Either the player or guild that gained the most LP would receive a medal based on a ranking of first to third. Buy Some, Get Some Events - Pretty self explanatory. Buy a certain item, and receive another item for free. Fishing Events - Simple. Catch the most fish in any given time. Prize would be the fishing title. AI Events - Kill the most AI bots and receive a custom title. Kill Events - Whoever gets the most kills in battle mode will receive a prize. Item Sale Events - Certain items periodically would be for sale at a lower price. GM vs Events - This one would be for the 1v1ers. Beat any GM and receive a prize. Find A GM Event - This event involves looking for any GM inside the plaza. First to find the GM receives a prize. Enchant To The Max Events - GMs select a +10 gem that users must successfully enchant up to. Prizes can be a variety of rares ranging from Gladiator to capes. First Time Buyer Events - Events directed towards new players. They would receive a prize for buying credits for the first time. Seasonal Calendar Events - This event would be held seasonally. Just log on daily for the duration for a month, and unlock new items. Community Exp Events - Gain a certain amount of exp as a community! Prizes can be anything. Weekend Bonus Quests - Complete a certain amount of tasks and receive a prize. Examples: Accumulate 50 kills, Clear Vlad [Hell] 5 times, spend 10k carats. Forum Events Seasonal Costume Design Events - There are a lot of artists in the community who would like to suggest seasonal items to be implemented into the game. Loading Screen Events - Again this is for the artists. Usually a theme is incorporated for these type of events. Trailer Events - Best user made trailer for Rumble Fighter would receive the Director's Title, Director's Hat, and their video would be posted on the website for all to see. Create A Signature For The GMs - Create a signature for the GMs and the best suggestions receive a prize. Fashion Events - These can be thematic or entirely random. They can be staff picked or voted on by the community. Prize usually was the Fashionista title and a random item. Check out these other threads as well. Yes, I support the trailer event to be the first event to gain more publicity for RedFox and a loading screen event. Lets get a ladder point event, forum room event and throw downs for in game events.
I know, I was picking some events on the list I liked the most and wanted to see be thrown in right away.
Yeah we need those back. They shouldn't have been part of a spenders event to begin with. We need the originals and new scroll master titles.
I really havent seen a Throwdown in a minute makes me sad. I really want the TD's back and i might actually attend a loading screen event for once......the trailer event maybe cuz i havent really done rf related yt vids in a while.
Yeah the RM throw-downs were just terrible. I know they tried to do their best with what they had, but come on, GMs should've stepped it up. After Rev left, that's when things started going downhill.
Events won't help this game if half of them can be rigged by private exploits. The best event to start the game is a Bug bounty event :}
This will force everything to become public ounce it's public they have no choice but to care like they had to with 4b :}
Which events do you think could be rigged or exploited? The only thing I can think of off the top of my head is mini-games.
