boss modes that you'd recommend newer players to do?

so i got tired of waiting for my thread in general discussion to get approved so im just gonna post it here:

title. im trying to build up my account from scratch and im not sure what boss modes are worth doing.

what boss modes give good equips state-wise?

any boss mode give perm exocore/scrolls?

general carat farming boss modes?

other information?

 

1.DH series armors
2. Only event boss modes give perm exos and scrolls
3. Alhata hard or DH8 normal/hard during power hour

 

for beginners, I recommend the DH series

once you reach DH-08, you'll reach the easiest boss mode map in the game, so you don't have to continue climbing the DH series any further

the map is pretty much only the boss, so the map can be cleared insanely quickly

the boss has the most predictable mechanics, and has no minions protecting it, regardless of difficulty level

not sure if hell mode has minions though, I don't remember

 

DH13 was my **** when I restarted RF on OGP. I did it up until like lv 30 solo lol.

 

Sanctuary and Locke both are pretty decent, since each box has a full set in it, instead of one set spread across the 3 modes.
I believe the first thing a new player should do, in regards to boss mode, is to go through all of the DH missions up to DHZero so that you may join anyone's boss room regardless of which map it is. Then maybe focus on getting a specific set. The Dr. Nature set from DHZero is amazing for Armor and HP sets. I -think- one of the No-slot items gives +500hp. Not sure, though.

If you’re building an account from scratch, boss modes are a decent way to get started, but not all of them are worth the time early on. Generally, the higher-difficulty boss modes give better statted equips, but they also assume you already have some gear, so it’s a bit of a trade-off. For equips with decent stats, most people farm mid-to-high tier bosses rather than the very early ones. Early bosses are fine for learning mechanics, but the equips usually get replaced quickly. As for permanent exocores or scrolls, most boss modes don’t drop them directly — those usually come from events, shops, or crafting systems rather than straight boss farming.
