9D launcher help

    Hey I am a returning player trying to get the game installed. I have this error popping up saying 9d error.png "ERROR: read exporting data" - well I've googled and looked everywhere for information to fix this problem and there's nothing but reinstalling the client - which I have tried & also I have tried taking antivirus off.
    I have:
    • windows 10 pro
    • new computer with drivers all up to date
    • all games working perfectly; never an issue until now
    Any assistance would be grateful, I really want to play this game again. 9d error.png

    EDIT: Doing all steps with run as administrator.
    I am in contact with this issue via a support ticket with Redfox.

    A new problem has come up that I didn't notice: pic1.jpg
    I'm getting a zip-file error during the installation (comes up 3 times).
    I am running on Ethernet to my router.
    Also have a hybrid storage setup (SSD & regular HDD).
    I have win-rar and just recently installed 7-zip (not sure if this matters).
    Is there another downloader I could try? Does anyone have any idea what to do?

    Might be a compatibility issue with Windows 10 (although I'm not sure, don't have it myself).

    You could try out the following;
    1.) Right-Click the launcher icon
    2.) Click on 'Properties'
    3.) Select the 'Compatibility' tab
    4.) Enable 'Run this program as an administrator' at 'Privilege Level'
    5.) Try to launch the game and see if it works
    6.) If it does, there's your solution
    7.) If it doesn't, go back to the compatibility setting and play around with ''Run this program in compatibility mode for:''
    (I recommend to leave ''Run this program as an administrator'' enabled)

    Other than that I'm not entirely sure what you could try out.
    Maybe contact support to see what they say about this issue.

    Hi thanks for your reply, yes I have been using run as administrator - edited in.

    I have had an array of issues with the installer on this game, the only way I managed to resolve this issue was to look back through [GM]Ahri's posts and find a link to a direct download bypassing the need for the installer; this worked for me.

    I suggest you try this.

    Thank you so much - it worked! I had to download a program called Ultrasurf to download from that New Zealand site. Worth all the wait & effort, I can't thank you enough! :D
