Kenpo vs Blackout

I'm into the older scrolls, and im torn between these two. Could anyone give me pros and cons and give me your thoughts on them?? sorry for another scroll thread

 

Kenpo if you wanna try and be cool.
Blackout if you're a mango

Buy combat sambo if you like old scrolls. And also if you want to be a badass.

 

Kenpo and Blackput both have problems with linearity, so don't purchase these scrolls if you aren't confident in your aim
Kenpo has really solid damage with a kick range only matched by scrolls like Wing Chun, with a KP that can perfect angle(edge map oriented) the punch combo can pressure and poke from an outside range really well
It is underused and you will have the factor of surprise; if you like to play defensive,passive drifting this scroll is for you



Blackout is the one of the best offensive scrolls in shop
Its crazy movements can make the scroll seem hard to use for most, but you just need to think before you attack
It has a lot of options to take down scrolls that most people have problems with like Shoot Boxing and Muay Boran through kick priority and a fast recovering punch combo
The K(K+G) also angles pretty well n comes out blazing fast

Ultimately it's up to you, if you play more edge maps I would recommend Kenpo though
Mastering Blackout will help you increase your overall skill level though
and it's timed for carats so.. You could just try out both

 

Kenpo isn't that old compared to 2008+ but I guess it's veteran-esque. Use it if you want to be skillful. For Blackout, not only it requires skill, but it's also more efficient in teams if you want to angle better, a scroll more flexible than Shoot Boxing.

if you ever tried countering blackout's first kick, you will get hit no matter what

blackout's first kick will trade hits really easily

I roll with Blackout. If you can predict well, you'll having everyone popping panics leaving them open for punishment. Then you have the KG which breaks blocks and the delay on the punches are decent. Linear, simple, easy and not to flashy.

 

Theyre both legit , id get blackout myself but either one is pretty viable

 

Blackout because it's got them kicks, 1st kick can't be countered, and it shaves off hp like crazy

 

It can be countered, it just prevents follow-up.
