Thinking of coming back to RF..

How's the community?
I haven't played since 2008 when everyone was using street and tkd...

 

the forum community is great, for the most part.

the in-game community puts a lot of pressure on players, so unspoken standards might be imposed:

-No dt in a team match (usually happens once the opponent's team is put in a 1v2, 1v3, 1v4 situation)
-No edge kills in an edging map like Third rock and Moon (Edge kills is seen as a very undeserving win)
-Exocore in a 1vs1 is disrespectful
-High stats are usually banned; usually 50 str,def,spd,jmp or less
-Snake and Custom Phantomcore is the most hated exocores, so any game involving them, you will get haters
-You cannot run away, when running away is sometimes the best option (it is seen as disrespectful, and cowardly)
-Spamming the same scroll combo is seen as a very low thing to do (shoot boxing's KKKK/ hitman's KPPK), when some scrolls are good because of that combo alone.
-Resurrection items like angel wings, sejul, halo are absolutely not appreciated in any game
-Back-guard items is not appreciated in any game
-Lv15- panic and the x2 panic is seen as a very unfair advantage, so a lot of people will bash those who use them
-Do not attack when you are lag spiking. Doing so will possibly hit the opponent at impossible angles, and they will be mad at you

 

it's bad just find a different game if u expect to make friends, everyone in RF still hates each other and the forum is the nice place but everything changes in game

I doubt most of the people who claim to be from long time ago who "come back" to play are actually telling the truth but if so, you gon learn todayy

I wouldn't do it. Unless you mute everyone in game, and tolerate flame.
