It's not that, I come from the Dark Souls community, everyone there is just full of friendliness and goes out there way to help each other. I'm used to that kind of respect from the community.
Honestly, check out the Dark Souls and Dark Souls SR community, everyone is there to help each other. Then again completely different game and the mentality of the players are very different to the ones here.

They even exist in the MMORPG world. Try GW2, I always meet lots of friendly people there, and they're all helpful. It's sad to see how the community here seems to think that anyone trying to help others out are begging to become a mod. That says a lot about the community.
