We have received some updates to the network developers and is current taking some action towards the DDoS attackers base on several player reports all across our games. We are also making some adjustments on preventative measures in place.
it's been an issue for like a year or two , idk if you guys setting aside this game. We spent and receive nothing in the end. Please fix it , been too tired to hear ddos attack. Are you guys that incompetent?
Unfortunately DDOS attacks are not something that can be "fixed" very easily. Due to the unexpected nature of these attacks it is difficult to completely safeguard against them. DDOS attacks work by overloading a website or online service by spamming it with requests, tying up all possible resources so that genuine players are either slowed to a crawl or unable to connect. This is a type of attack that has increased in popularity recently and has been plaguing high profile games, publishers and even entire gaming networks.
That's very true. Even triple A games have trouble dealing with DDOS attacks. If DDOS attacker really is what's causing the lag recently, it's going to be tough to just "fix" it instantly. that being said, my lag problem kind of disappeared when I fixed my anti virus though. my anti virus was freaking out about the game, it identified all sorts of exes from it as trojans and viruses and I kept getting disconnected. I simply let those exes allowed in my computer. It seems to work fine now. this game is pretty old and newer machines might have a bit of trouble running it properly so you guys might want to check your anti viruses. its working fine for me now though so uh.. yeah, hope you guys get a fix on your lag as well, cheers
We appreciate your understanding we are still being attack as we speak. In some cases it has definitely caused some major issues in which players cannot login in game. We are still working on stabilizing the DDoS attacks as we are making adjustments as soon as we get updates from the network developers.
