Because of meta ******** skill items and revs that have 100% revival with no revival limit per round.
Meta will always evolve in a way to be "as competitive" or "better" than previous released items. It really comes down to how you look at things and the logic behind it. Many other fighting games (more strict though) offer lets say characters with unique style (like what, 20-30 max?) or fighting styles, etc. Some, actually are very "OP" or "Very Easy to use". The thing is, at that point you need to know things. Is it easy but optimal? Is it easy to counter too? How does it match up against other stuff? Are the game devs known for common patches and balances that could affect it? Typically after that, where skill differences is when players are put up against different styles and situations constantly. Being able to play multiple styles out of skill, being able to use actual mindset, knowledge and dexterity.... In RF, many styles are very balanced, underpowered or overpowered like any other game. However players tend to constantly use items that "correct" playstyle due to its beginner friendlyness. Example, so many people who actually use Vermillion phoenix, Volador or Cyclone are severely worst when they don't have access to simular scrolls or perfect situations to apply them. They correct range factors, movement, etc. Thats just 1 aspect though, the list goes on. As far as "meta" goes, Players who are stupid won't improve, the rest, well, it wont have much impact. In RF
I'm trash at 1v1's and godlike at Demo. I used to be able to hold my own in 1v1's but I'd never truly come out on top.
Felt like taking a trip down memory lane this thanksgiving weekend -- it's a trip to see some of ya'll from the old days still play
And not the Stun Launcher -> Electric Charger infinite right? Nah youre totally right it's the wings making everyone bad even tho every other fighting game in existence uses a 2 life or life stock system.
Man wrote a long ass post about a dead ass game. It's 2019 nobody cares about skill people basically login to see their internet friends
did you die where are u lmao. -i dont play rf- just wana know what other game you play so i can play with you
If i didn't play smacked all the time I can still do well in any game mode overall. I am a well rounded player who could hold my own in any game mode.
Every once in a blue moon I log in just to read Eternus guild forum thread and say hi to my old friends. The old 1v1 days are gone now and that's just how it is. Branz just enjoy the past for what it was and keep it moving. I been here since 2008 so I remember the good ole days as well. The very first Guild War Tournament on OGP, I was in lolmindgames. I didn't even come close to the skills required to join LMG on merit alone but I had friends like Sam, Jenna, KidSpeedy and Lamborghini and eventually Ralphos and LavisCannon who got me in. I would bother Jenna and Lambo(Ricky) to train me bcuz I wanted to improve and get better in 1v1. Back in the day unless you had some friends who were good at the game you got your ass toasted during a real gw level 4v4. Fast forward to now the game is dead dead. RF needs players, excited little kids like we were (29 atm) who like the game and enjoy playing it with friends. Until that changes 1v1 will continue to decline until no one is left.
