I'm looking for people who played 2008-2011 since I might try playing again. I had 1 million name changes but I would assume I would be best known as Canelopie or Alicia, idk. Anyways hallo. Missed you RF in some sick, demented way.
Lol. I know exactly what I'm walking into and that is a community more toxic than League. Honestly the worst collective player base I've seen but I also met a lot of really good people and only kept in contact with a few. This is just something for me to mess around on when I'm not playing something else. ^^ Never gunna forget getting "exposed" on OGP forums. That was fun.
Indeed That exposes on ogp forum were actually lit I could almost forget about it lmao. It would be fun if we can look it into again. Yet ogp's whole shit are deletion.
Yeah, no. You might have fun on forums then but the problems with the game go WAY beyond the player base. Avoid at all costs.
Well, 1. We've hit peak recycling animations into new content 2. Anything that's exceedingly overpowered is INSTANTLY put into a box. 3. The rates for said boxes are...well lets not do that shall we. 4. The daily player count barely reaches 15 to 30 at peak hours 5. DDOS'ers are rampant moody kids who go from "Chill" to "Foaming at the mouth raging" in a few moments 6. Exos and Scrolls that put King of Fighter Bosses to shame 7. Whales constantly forking out money allowing the game to live on in a broken state but never getting fixed 8. Scrolls locked behind absolutely terrible boss mode events and worse chest odds 9. Random D/C's when navigating the UI 10. Rooftop will D/C a whole room 11. Laggy EU's running rampant and using USA VPN's (Ya'll aren't slick) But the one thing I do enjoy, is that you can recognize almost everyone it's kinda like a bad Spaghetti western.
Oof. I wish something like RF would get released. I think with some updated graphics and physics a game like this could be really popular. Nothing else out there like this and I always had a really good time. First competitive game I ever really played, was always more of a PvE MMO person before RF. All I really play now is competitive games, lol. Well sad, I was hoping it might be worth playing still.
Yeah, RF really was babies first fighting game for me, before I eventually moved on to other fighting games. I came back a few months before the big OGP switch and decided to participate until the game died.
I can only tell you the genre that Rumble Fighter classifies as is an "Arena Fighter" because it only gets more depressing from there.
Its still worth playing the games only improved functionality wise since release, not declined, but most people just have trouble seeing thru their rose-tinted glasses. Portions of what @RumbleNomad said tho do have merit but things have come a LONG way from the s*** show that was OGP.
if there was one I for sure wouldn't be here. It's a fun game at its core tho and that's what sucks. The social aspect is what kills it. Motherfuggers who get way too into it getting in your face and getting waaaaay too personal about it. How easy it is to gain power over someone else with money. All part of why RF can't ever have new players anymore. Power Stone was the shit
Is that why they're still using a p2p connection instead of a dedicated server? Much upgrade so 2019 @Squidstress this is what I was talking about when I said avoid at all costs, I was waiting for this dude to comment... this dude right here is the best reason to avoid the game entirely, unless you like seeing a grown man deepthroat a kids game
My dude youre so deep in your toxic closet you're actually trying to cast my positive attitude as a negative thing lol sorry but the rest of us arent constantly all pissy and belligerent like you. People of your mentality are what should really be avoided at all costs.
