Should all RC and Carat scroll/exocore, have a 1 and 7 day timed carat scroll price???


Make 1 and 7 day timed scroll high carat price, so that its not super affordable for ppl to keep buying carat -> thus making them want to buy scroll/exocore in carat.


(why buy a scroll and exocore, if we cant test it out?)

All bad and old scroll/exocore in free timed box, okay. But what about the newer scroll/exocores? Will they be added to free timed box or will it never?

I had a similar idea to this

 

They did this with Blackout, which I find myself buying often. 2.5k for 1 day, 5k for 3 days, 12.5k for 2 weeks I'm guessing.
Support af, cuz I wanna try Azteca, Soulless and Slash.
They also had this option long ago where you could test out a scroll in training. But people abused it so that they could use it in adventure mode. They should bring that back too af.

 

Game pretty much should have the whole trial system. The whole shop looks like it has the temporary option and the perm option to begin with. But of course, people would just keep earning carats (which is i guess a good thing) to buy the premium scrolls. I would suggest some scrolls be like blackout and some should stay premium because well, every Free to play game is gonna have some sort of way to make money.

And no, a Trade system is stupid for this game.

 

If you look in my model archive, in the misc section, in one of the UI folders you will see that they DID do some kind of coding or whatever to bring back the "test scroll" feature but they never actually put it in.

Yeah i forgot we were able to test scrolls back then.
I think they removed it because people were doing glitches and hacks to keep the scrolls or exos afterwards.

 

Oh how simple it would have been to instead of degrading the games morals with yet another removal of a great feature and just simply fixing it so glitches and hacks didnt happen again.

 

Be careful with reasoning like that.

PSA: "Simply fixing" a game that is a decade old is like "simply renovating" an old building. Any additions or changes you make can damage the underlying structure and make things worse, so it is actually very difficult, from a coding standpoint, to do it properly. Especially if you did not write the code that is running in the first place. And I am certain they do not have 100% of their original developers on call for 10 years straight to help explain code/help fix bugs.

The architecture for this game is -largely- client sided. That means all the assets and data for specific items exists on the users computer, so it is [REDACTED]. Making it simply so people could not [REDACTED] with their files with a 100% success rate is a very tall order, if you dont have server side validation..

Wow, you know what i never even thought about it like that. That is very true.
There is a big possibility that the same members who coded this game, are even still with nimonix.

This will fail terribly, here's why. People will glitch boss mode to farm carats and not earn it authentically so to speak, therefore you could essentially buy the scroll permanently in timed form, thus negating the need to use RC to purchase the scroll. The point you made where you make the scroll "high carat price" would maybe work if it was overpriced out the balls, I am talking 100k carats or higher. Here's the problem with that, people will complain it's too overpriced and cry even more. Keep in mind I said "maybe work" meaning, this is assuming people don't carat hack and gift people for free.
