It's the 2nd week after break ended. I'm already dead inside. Good thing I have another 2 weeks off at the end of next week.
college. school doesnt give progress reports or anything. I thought i was doing fine all semester long only to get my end of semester report and see i have an A C D and F in my classes
right now im passing all my classes except english which is at an abysmal 50 because **** writing essays. what class was that btw I love history. Math is okay. Drama can **** my **** but im good at the class for some reason and had to perform in front of the whole school fml. Spanish is easy as **** (had to transfer there because ching chong teacher said 2nd period and the only class with space for math was 2nd period so gg im flexing on everyone) Chem is *** but it's science so ez.
when i was junior in high school i actually got a 0 on an essay about the reason why the author of some book chose to write a prologue for it. i said he did it to make the book longer
im sophmore speaking of prologues I had to write a prologue for F451 but I was like nah **** it and I always got heckled by my teacher to ******* turn it in to the point she singled me out in class. If I did that I would be at passing range.
I took english, calc 1 (again because even though i got a 3 on the ap test my school only accepted 4s or higher) intro to comp sci and intro astronomy. english was pretty simple, i only had to write two essays and one powerpoint for a final. but like 60% of my grade came from participation. I got an A astronomy wasn't really that hard. like 99% of it was remembering equations and small facts like distance our solar system is to center of galaxy for the exams. I admit i only studied for like 2 hours before each exam even though i shouldve studied more. got a C Because I already took calc before but i just didnt get the transfer credit I though i could just breeze through it, so i didnt do any of the homework and i barely listened in class. By the end of the semester it was actually pretty difficult for me but i thought i did well enough in the class that my grade would be fine even if i bombed my final. got an F intro to comp sci was really hard. i probably put the most effort into this class but looking back i shouldve put more (like tbh i only put like 40% effort in the semester) around thanks giving was when the teacher felt generous and decided to post current grades. I had like a 34 F and I knew it'd be impossible to bring up so i just focused on at least getting a D so i wont have to take it again. I got a D
why our teacher makes us write weekly essays about social justice causes and whatnot. Sound like me in geometry last year when I was freshman
from my experience (esp in highschool) the teachers that assign weekly papers are usually easier on grading than those who assign papers one every month or so.
i don't even know but most projects involved making structures using a line material, plane material, and a joining method that isn't tape or glue line materials are things like metal pipes and plane materials are flat surfaces like plexiglass or wood everyone else used dank power machines and laser cutting to do their projects while i managed to pass the class by using wooden dowels, flimsy plastic sheets, and zip ties for all my projects because i didn't want to spend 2 hours every weekend or day off to go to school just to use the high frquency megazord slicer things and i forgot how to use them the moment i earned my shiny sticker that gave me permission to use them. this was the hardest non-liberal arts class
