thoughts on alternative versions of scrolls/exos?

do you guys like variants of pre-existing scrolls/exos? im talking about the:
Another/SE/BF scrolls
Custom/BFE exos

personally i think its a good idea (as long as variations are not too different from the original). i mean right now the game has wayyy too many scrolls/exos. idk... thoughts?

 

we need Another Boxing
regular boxing is complete crap it only has TWO combos!
Another Street though....

 

I don't care about the growing number of scrolls anymore.
It can't get any worse than League of Legend's neverending roster


It's cool that the older versions of the scrolls are kept, because some people wouldn't appreciate the changes.

ex) Hitman lost its trip combo for a juggle launcher. Hitman has the best trip combo in the game, and it would lose that reputation once it becomes BF LE (Black Friday Limited Edition). Trips have incredible utility, and it's very good for keeping the opponent close, while getting backlock setups.

ex) Destroyer lost its easy 1-2-3 juggle launcher. The old Destroyer had a juggle launcher that can be used in between kick combo pressure. The new launcher is a 2 hit launcher, that cannot be used if the player decides to use the kick combo.

ex) Abyss lost its fence edger KPPPK. The old Abyss has one of the best fence edgers ever, since the combo finisher can angle extremely well.

ex)Avenger lost its unblockable kG. It was definitely one of the best unblockables for scrolls (it could chase rolls and punish recovery kicks)

 

se scrolls should be permanent rewards from boss modes along with nerfed boss mode exocores in order to provide an incentive to actually play them

future se scrolls will likely be based on the following:

• ninjutsu
• pa kua kwon
• mao gong (not really because there is catastrophe)
• shaolin
• karate
• drunken boxing
• muay thai
• jujitsu
• taekkyon
• boxing
• jeet kun do
• capoeira
• vale tudo
• lucha libre
• pro wrestling
• judo
• not ice breaker

another scrolls and custom exocores are done we're not getting any more

 

BTW SUPPORT JUJITSU SE (not brazilian jiu jitsu) it's easy to get confused but the two suggestions are different: jujitsu se is the suggestion that is good

 

even if they did make se scrolls awards for completing boss mode runes, people would grow tired of it prob 3 weeks after it comes out. boss mode doesnt really hold any attention long enough for anything.unless some crazy rewards are attached(like the snowman bm back when gems where 1.5k and super easy to get from the chests.)

but if anything another/bfe/se scrolls are ok. another avenger makes me rock hard every time i use it

 

it hurt me that you did not include Renegade SE in this list but otherwise that is a good idea to put SE scrolls into adventure mode. definitely support.

 

SE scrolls are a great example why this game will not prosper. Instead of making Taekwondo SE and then only have it available for a short time... NimoniX could have just applied those changes to the regular Taekwondo to make the scroll a viable choice for new players that are just testing the waters. But as we all know, NimoniX doesn't care to improve and expand this game and it's a shame because rf could have been a big title.
And @Zasty , we could also use some of those Boss Exocores in the medal shop. They have the slots for those ExoCores but won't make them available for purchase because nimonix.

 

We need Mach Knuckle SE

 

the new kg does the exact same as you mentioned. It can also send opponents pretty far mid air and it can bu. It also serves as a more useful ground hit that avenger's >>g. the unblockable kg was about as useful as shoot boxing's tbh.

 

Idk BJJ looks better than JJSE as JJSE seem like its just to to be a edge map friendly scroll and it has one of has a garbage back grab.

As for the edits they are nice but the SE series could have just been scroll updates like they did with most of all the class exclusive scrolls and Pro Wrestling. Its like they didn't remember how PW sold alot more when they updated it, and people actually used the class scrolls more when they got updated too. As the BM grind for them seem kind of iffy plus it just goes into the problem with the game being is too addicted to releasing boxed content.

I think It's alright to have different versions of scrolls, but having too many might be a bit..

I have a really cool idea! What if we made icebreaker bfe that makes it a little better since it is very bad scroll at the moment in time. Or what if we somewhat fixed the scroll with it too! would be very amazing
