Phantom boxes worth it?

I feel like it is, mainly because your items will be perm. But the fall back is that it costs so much. $100 got me 5 of 7 of the full set. shoe, pants, shirts, head, both in bk and regular. Stats are merely the same as the striker set. What do you think?

 

How much are they? 5 virtual items are definitely not worth $100 imo. No question about it. The whole all perm thing is irrelevant. Even if you were going for every single item, odds are, you'd still end up spending a pretty penny to collect them all since you're bound to run into repeats. If anything they're just trying a new marketing strat although it has sort of been done before with the Christmas boxes.

It really comes down to your financial leniency and the worth you assign to whatever Nimonix took .2 seconds to create. Personally I wouldn't bother. Sometimes, even if you like something, you have to know when to say "cool" and move the **** on. If I had $100 to spare it'd prob go to the nearest Chipotle and even that would have been a better decision. There's nothing wrong with splurging on entertainment but if you're a sucker for every release or box released you might as well treat the game as if it were a monthly subscription to some sort of autistic service.

I don't know your situation but if I were you, and I received most of what I wanted, I'd leave it alone. Unless I simply "had it like that".

 

Got Marang on 3rd box.

 

It's overpriced and it's a class exclusive. You could of gotten a bunch of scrolls and exos.

I'll put it this way:
Don't buy more than 10 of them. If you have bad luck in those 10, then you'd have bad luck with 100.
Alternatively, you could end up with amazing luck within those ten and get 1 of each clothing piece in one color or the other, the title, and exocore.

Also, the clothes are all definitely worth the price of the box (until you get duplicates without getting the alternate stats). The highest cost clothes in the shop are like.. 500 each, so 530 or 590 (I forgot which it is) per box equaling clothing with amazing stats is good. No chance of timed items. The worst that can happen is to get duplicates or the 5k carat coupon. (Even then, the 5k carats equal to 10 duplicates.)

4 sets (Male, Female : Normal, Black )

1 exocore
3 stat distributions for the tops and bottoms
2 stat types (at least) for the gloves
A total of at least 34 items, I believe. My math may be a little off.

 

I personally think the exo is worth it, I'm not sure how much sp it gives you but i think it's pretty nice that something that uses sp can also give you sp. So after you get the exo perm, just stop. Set isn't worth man.

boxes to me are honestly not worth it

but people buy them for the excitement of possibly getting an item that's worth 1000x more than a shop item
