What do you guys think about forums right now compared to GC and OGP? What could make them better compared to how they are right now?

I have found this moderation to be really extreme and excessive. I can't even post simple conversation thread in general discussion without them getting deleted without a reason. What about you guys?

 

RMs. "Literally" all this forum needs. Better fts / layout but this forum is really lacking in content. But that's only because of the approval thing. GC/ OGP forums were definitely more interesting.

 

Ogp forums were better but these a better than GC , then again they added the moderate function cause it helps in case spam bots

 

Why did this get moved to Off-Topic.. lol.. this moderation is ridiculous.

I didn't forum on ogp or GC but the moderation thing discourage people on making threads good, bad or retarded.

But I guess that's what Redfox wanted, this atrocity

 

Hopefully we can lower down the GD forum barrier. The forums is never the same because of the moderation. Sure we have off-topic forum, but it's not a forum where people will talk about rumble fighter. Sometimes even random silly posts make the forums a bit interesting. Off-topic is a mini GD forum for now, since all the chaos can still happen here.

 

IMO this forum is better than GC's forum. I don't know about OGP's forum because I didn't forum there.

 

I made a thread on this topic for GD forum. I'm hoping it stays there.

But the chance of it being moved to off-topic is insanely high. As if people would come to Rumble fighter forum to discuss stuff other than rumble fighter. There are better forums for that

true. But there's not much we can do about it. People gonna pull their "freedom of speech" card out

 

It's more of like people acting different on the net then real life

 

I don't think people understand the Freedom of Speech/Expression cannot be used on private owned property or services.

Pulling that card out on the forums is like a man with a megaphone on someone else's property pulling out that card when asked to leave by the police or property owner.

 

They probably didn't want players to see this because it might start some sort of "riot" lol. So they moved it to off topic where less players look in at.
Honestly, this moderating thing is so dumb. Forum was boring before already. Now forum is dead.

 

yeah it's ridiculous they deleted my moon discussion thread for no reason.. then I had to wait 2 hours and they moved this one to off topic..

 

apparently the forums is not relevant to Rumble Fighter, if even discussing about the forums is not considered Rumble Fighter related.

I wouldn't understand any other reason why the thread is moved

 

90% of the GD forum as of now is all negative threads. This is going to be a gloomy weekend if there are no new threads to bump those threads down.

And necroposting is gone, because all the old posts are locked. We're stuck with these negative threads.


We're giving off a very bad impression right now. If a new player came to see the forums, and all they see is these threads, they are going to leave.

The forums actually matter, let the forums be a big part of rumble fighter (don't move them down to off-topic), since the forums seriously impact the playerbase

 

I hate the way they have this ******** where my thread cannot be made without a GM looking at it...
